Propaganda or Control- The government makes everyone join a faction and take the same simulation test. They also want them to believe in each of the factions and the idea that the simulation will determine the rest of your life.

Adventure- The book really never had a dull moment. Constantly there was action. For example, the fighting in the pit. The fear landscapes and simulations they went through. And the ending was so action filled and suspenseful. When Tris and Tobias were almost killed and they had to fight of all the soldiers to save the abnegation members.

I really enjoyed this book because there was almost never a dull moment. You were always learning something new and there was surprising changes. Overall was exciting book to read because of how action packed it is.

I really liked this novel. I love how there was really never a dull moment and there was always something that needed to be found out. This book was one you really always wanted to keep reading. I also liked Four and Tris’ relationship and how it grew throughout the story.

I would recommend this book to my brother. He doesn’t ever read and if he were to I know he would love this. Hunter is the type of person to enjoy the adventure in it. He would like the guns and fighting.

I would recommend this book to my twin sister Ruby. We have a lot of the same taste. And I really enjoyed this book so I know she would too. It is the perfect dystopian book filled with action and forbidden love. It is a good read and easy to follow.

I would like for them to go beyond amity and see what’s out there past the fence. I want them to start their own lives and create a town where everyone’s free to be anything.

I would like to see Four and Tris obviously grow together and build there relationship even stronger. I would also like Tris and Christina to be close friends and even thought Tris had to kill Will i hope Christina understands. I would also like to see Peter change and maybe be helpful to Tris and her friends. I would also love Caleb and Tris to become close siblings again and always have each others backs.

Propaganda or control - divergent fits this theme because the government has control of the people, and most don’t even realize it.
They keep control by telling the people they have to be divided into factions, and if you’re different, thats bad.

Evidence of futuristic world - there is evidence of a futuristic world in divergence because we are told multiple times about the war and when/why the factions were made. The factions were created to avoid a war again.

This theme is when a civilization can’t function anymore as they are too reliant on technology and then the technology decides to malfunction causing the rest of humanity to wavier with its survival

The group of characters that made it out of the mission alive will most likely flee to another faction. They will wait out there until erudite or one of the other factions takes action. Then they will reconnect with the dauntless who were under control. She will have to tell Christina that she killed Will.
