We made clay bells. It was a lot of fun. It was very hard to shape the handle and the bell. Once we glazed our bells and put it in the kiln it took a hard time to find my bell. Once I found my bell I put my bell on the bell holder. After that my bell was completed. It ways a fun project.

First,Mrs.O'Sullivan got out the clay and I started to make the clay into the shape of a bell. Then,when I was done Mrs.O'Sullivan put the clay into the kiln. Soon,Mrs.O'Sullivan took them out of the kiln to dry. Then,we got to glaze our bells. The color that I chose was green. Right after that Mrs.O'Sullivan put them back in the kiln. Then she had to take them out to dry.It also connects to sequence.I can make sound energy.

First I shaped my clay into the shape of a bell. There was this powder on the table so the clay would not stick to the table. I got some clay. Then I took some of the clay and shaped it like a snake. With the rest of the clay I made the actual bell. But I'm really bad at shaping clay so it looks like a bagel. Then I put little designs on the handle. We made a little ball so later we would attach it to string to make to noise. Then I poked a hole in the top.The next time I went to steam lab the bells were in the kiln. The time after that time they were out of the kiln so we got to glaze it. I wanted my bell to be bronze to make it be like a classical bell. But they didn't have bronze and the closest thing to that was this dotted brown so I decided if you look far away then it would close to bronze......I guess. Once I finished Ms. O 'Sulllivan put in the kiln. For the last time. When the bell came out it was all shiny. Ms. O ' Sullivan put the string in the bell so it would make noise thankfully it fit This has to do with sound energy because when you shake the bell it makes noise. It also has to do with matter because the clay is solid and the glaze is liquid when ms. O' Sullivan put it in the kiln that was gas energy. Thankfully my bell makes noise. I have sucseeded well my bell has.... my bell still looks like a bagel.4

First,Mrs.O'Sullivan cut the clay and then we started squishing the clay into a bell shape.When we were done,we made a handle out of the left over clay.When we were done shaping the bell Mrs.O'Sullivan put them into the kiln to harden.When it was ready to start working on the bell again we chose which color put on our bell we started to glaze it.When we were done glazing our bells Mrs. O'Sullivan put then into the kiln again. When they were to come out we had to put the noisemaker in and I was finally done!!!!!!!!!!!

First we molded the clay into a bell shape then we molded a handle . Mrs.O'Sullivan put into the kiln then we waited a few days and another few days to cool down . Mrs.O'Sullivan took the bells out then kiln. then we glazed it then we put it back into the kiln . After that everything was completed and it was a awesome result.

In science we learned about sound and heat energy. The bell produces sound by the clay ball making the sound aganist the inside of the bell. The bell uses heat when Ms.O'sullivan put the bells in the kiln. Also the kiln makes the bell harden. That's how the bells go along with the science lesson I learned in class.

First we took a ball of clay and made the mold of the bell and we made a hole in the top for the ball that makes the sound.Next we designed our bell with different kind of tools to make defferent shapes and sizes. Then we painted the bells with glaze in different colors. I picked blue.After Mrs.O'Sullivan put all of the bells in the kiln and when they were done they came out nice and shiny.Last we had to put a medium sized ball inside it and it made a sound when you rang it.

To make my bell, first I made a bowl like shape for the base. Tmake the handle , I made a long rope and bent it into a curve and attached it to the base.after that I chose a deisign . I picked dots for mine. After that, I picked out glaze. I chose gold for mine. It was put in the hot kiln several times befor it was complet.

When it was done, it sort of looked like cheese!

My bell has polka dots and is maroon. First we shaped the bell and made a handle. Then we put it in the kiln ,took it out ,glazed three layers of glaze and put it back in the kiln. Next we took it out of the kiln. Last we added a small ball of clay on plastic string and tied it to a hole on the top of the bell. This goes with what we were learning about sound energy in science class. when we put the clay ball in it helped to make sound when you shake it.we learned how to make bells and also how and why they work. we had lots of fun making clay bells in the S.T.E.A.M. lab.

In Steam Lab Mrs.Ossullivans class she gave me clay I shaped it up as a bell I had to start all over again somtimes because it looked weird.Then I picked a color on a piece of paper to paint my bell.Then I put it in the kilm I waited a couple of days till it was ready .
