         <description><![CDATA[<div>I created writing folders for each of my students very simply with a construction paper cover and about 10 pieces of lined paper. On our writing day, students use the pages in this folder to write responses to prompts. They date each response and keep writing on the same page until it is full. Since we have so little time in a guided reading lesson, I want them to focus on their thinking instead of writing the prompt. They were to pinch the rabbit each time they encountered an ending punctuation mark or comma.&nbsp; It really did help them slow their reading pace and in turn improve overall comprehension.<br>- Stacy<br><br></div>]]></description>
