Know: Students will understand area, the operations of multiplication/addition, knowing that area can be determined by multiplying side lengths.

Do: Students will calculate the area of shapes by multiplying their side lengths while also using addition to find the total area of the shapes when broken down into smaller pieces.

Know: Students will understand place value and how numbers 10 and 100 are spaced on a number line

Do: Students will be able to tell what a number is closer to in relation to 10 or 100 and be able to differentiate if a number is greater than or less than 5 or 50 to round up or down.

Know- Students will know how to identify, write, represent, and compare numbers up to 20.

Do- Students will count objects and identify them with a number depending on how many objects are given from 1 to 20.
