When we post or share something on social media every day its like you're sharing a piece of your life with everyone who follows you on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter (etc). I think this movie could really have an impact on someone who uses social media on a day-to-day basic (ie. myself).
2) I think Truman wouldn't like the idea of social media because he already knows the feeling of getting his privacy raided by being on a TV show. Social media even more so because everyone would have it...What impact? Be specific. Otherwise, great work Gilven!

Don't get me wrong, it was a very well done film and Jim Carey did an outstanding job of acting in it. But, it really comes down to the point on if I liked it or not. I think the only thing keeping me from falling asleep during it was the scattered plot line, nothing was happening in order which gave the film a bit more which put it in a category of its own I would say and kept it more intriguing for the audience.

All though the film had that difference in it, I still feel that the film got boring at some parts and I didn't really know what was going on. I believe there could have been more really. At some points I wondered to myself if it was just Truman's lame life that made the entire it boring.

Overall, I didn't really enjoy 'The Truman show' as much as I thought I would, and I think it could have had more to it.

3. The music in this film makes it all come together. Example,when Guido put on the music at the concentration camp and Dora heard it. She then knew that he was alive and okay. Music can really make a movie come alive and make it have a good seen. If music was was not in this film it would be boring and she would of not known he was alive!

4. I think it is okay for a movie or book to have a bunch of different genres. It can get confusing if you don't transition smoothly into the next genre but if you do it right it can be a great and action packed movie/book.

Rules and Regulations of Film Club
-Parents MUST have a valid CPIC to attend screenings.

-No outside food is permitted. I will provide snacks for the first screening and Papa Jacks Popcorn will be available for purchase for subsequent screenings.

-Students may NOT use phones or devices during screenings. Parents are asked to respect this rule as well by keeping their phones away and on vibrate during screenings.

-Older and younger siblings are NOT permitted to attend unless they are also in Grade 7/8 at this school.

-Students are asked to arrive on time and be picked up on time if they attend on their own. Students must be picked up by a parent or an adult who is permitted to drive/walk them home.

-Overall, I ask that we keep the screening room clean and are respectful throughout the evening. This is a new initiative and we hope to continue it going forward. �`��2��
