He was inspired many other civil right leader such as  Martin Luther King and Nelson Mandela .
He was born in india in 1869  and when he was 19  went to London  to study law  in south africa  for  20 years .
When Ghandi returned  to India in 1914 he became a political activist and led of movement from the British Empire .
Ghandi went to prison  several times and he refused to eat in prison as protest.
In 1930  he did the SALT MARCH against  the tax  on a salt ,Ghandi walk three km to the sea .
In 1947 Britain proposed the formation of two  new indipendent countries :India and Pakistan .
Ghandi  was assanated by a Hindu  nationalist in Delhi on 30th January 1948.

she wanted  to be a teacher , but hed to leave school to help her mother and granmother .
in 1932 , Rosa Parks married Raymond Parks . They were  both entusiastic about Civil Rights .
in 1955, Rosa worked in a shop,in the same year she was on a bus on the way back to her home  from the work.
when she refused to give her seat to a white man , the bus driver called the police who arrestd her  and the MONTGOMERY BUS BOYCOTT began.
african american boycotted   bus for over a year.
the protest  ended when the racial segregetion on busses stopped in 1956.
whit this episode beginning  the CIVIL RIGHT MOVEMENT in the USA.

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela was a South African politician and activist, president of South Africa from 1994 to 1999 who win against apartheid.  Mandela was the first South African president to be elected by universal suffrage and the first non-white to hold that office. Mandela fOUGHT HIS battle against apartheid,for this Mandela was imprisoned and remainEd in jail for 27 years .

his speech became famous all over the world and in 1955 he won the Nobel prize for the peace ,and in 1965 the american governament finally made it possible for all african americans to vote.
Martin Luthr King was assasinated in Mephis ,Tennessee. in april 1968, but in july 1968  the american governament passed the civil rights act .
