This evidence is obvious, that all men are created equal, that they hold sacred rights by God, and amongst these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The governments are to establish these rights through the agreement of the people they govern over. When the government begins to strip the governed of these rights, the people under the establishment of the governing forces have the right to change or destroy the government themselves; to establish a new governing force, and to create new laws to protect the safety and happiness of the governed.
