Well, under the guidance of someone already versed in the practice, I could start performing SOME responsibilities of most people in the mortuary field. In this case, colorado doesn't require any prior education. However, federally, it's preferred I have an associate's degree. It is also good to have an apprenticeship and license, which one can get at around 18 years of age, with a clean history.

https://www.cofda.org/site_page.cfm?pk_association_webpage_menu=7039&pk_association_webpage=14163#:~:text=The%20State%20of%20Colorado%20does,enter%20the%20funeral%20service%20profession

https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/finding-a-job/how-to-become-embalmer

Caring for any animals I may own and my future acres can be costly.
Buying chickens usually won't cost more than 5 dollars. I could easily afford 12.

https://www.chickensforbackyards.com/product/buff-orpington/

Feeding them is another story. A fifty-pound bag of food would last 12 chickens for about 3 days. This bag would cost around 18 dollars per bag. That means it would cost about $180 per month to feed the chickens.

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/producers-pride-scratch-grain-50-lb

Goats! Goats can be very profitable but require a lot of work. They also cost a considerable amount. Goats are relatively easy to feed as long as you keep in mind what they can't have. They mostly graze so a few acres would be fine for basic feeding during the summer. During the winter it'll cost about $50 to supplement them with some basic feed. I should expect to pay about $800 for two goats.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZYRH1QX?ref=myi_title_dp

I can put in a budget for about $200 for a decent enclosed.

Having a herding dog and barn cats would be helpful. Barn cats usually have around a $90 adoption fee and would cost around $365 a year to care for. I would like an Icelandic Sheepdog for its helpfulness. Adopting one is pricey at around $1000 and care would be about $672 a year.

https://www.aspcapetinsurance.com/resources/cat-ownership-cost/

However, it'll be worth it to know that the property will be protected from any unwanted pests.
