When the Socs jumped Ponyboy, it kept me on my toes and it made me anxious and even more curious about the book than I thought I would be. I am excited to read further in the book!

I am further behind than I thought I would be only because I am a very fast reader and I thought I would be one chapter ahead than where I am now. So far, the story is great! I love all the action and the drama of Johnny being in the hospital, is he going to live or not, what's going to happen at the rumble, and what is going to be the future for the Curtis brothers. I like action books and I like that they leave a mystery that makes me wanna skip till the end of the book and see what happens. (I don't do that of course (: ) The reading has been going easy, I mean there are some terms I don't get since it was back in 1980 something but other than that it has been very easy. I predict that Johnny isn't going to make it. He has trouble breathing since his back broke in the burning of the church. Also I think that Ponyboy and Sodapop are going to stay with Darry and not get sent to a boy's home. I am enjoying the book I can relate to some parts in the book , Its a really good book and would recommend it. The reading for me has been easy but sometimes difficult sometimes i got to reread a page because i was confused and did not know what was going on.
