I’m not sure about the other comments on here? I’ve found this course to be incredible so far. You can’t please everyone, but you’re not expected to at the end of the day.

The negativity is quite brutal at the moment and it’s sad to read.

There’s nothing against the lecturers on my end, I love the teaching aspect and the skills!

Thankyou for making the first 6 weeks so informative and engaging :)

Amazing Support

I think the last 6 weeks have been amazing. It was better than I thought and the support you’ve provided has been much appreciated. I think that there has been problems between students which has possibly impacted the learning for others as I know it has for me. But as a whole, I’ve enjoyed it so much

I have thoroughly enjoyed the last 6 weeks. The only things that I feel have made learning difficult for me personally, is that some sessions are very brief on topics and the essay plan criteria was very confusing due to the conflicting information. Otherwise, the last 6 weeks have been really exciting for me. I feel our lecturers have made learning feel extra special, they are very passionate about midwifery and women and one of my favourite parts of a lecture is hearing story’s from their own midwifery careers! I have loved this module and am looking forwards to module 3.

The support has been amazing. Emails replies are fast, questions are answered, the lecturers are funny and engaging! I’ve really enjoyed learning these last 6 weeks. The only thing I would say is a “negative” if you could call it that? Is I want more hands on! :D I’m ready to jump into placement and share my knowledge when I come back :) thankyou to the module lead, who has been so patient with us all🩵

Great introduction to midwifery

As Hannah said yesterday, people only leave feedback or ‘reviews’ when they have a negative experience, rarely positive. I’m sure we will see this for ourselves about our own practise too.

I just wanted to comment that I have really enjoyed this module, the enthusiasm Hannah has for it has made it engaging and exciting.

I think there’s some negative vibes at the moment in the cohort, which is a shame and may be making some feel a little miserable, but I don’t believe that is a reflection on the lecturers or the content that is being delivered by any means. There was a small amount of confusion over formative work (as Hannah is more than aware), but I feel the rest has been seamless. Looking forward to part 2!
