My Portrait Poem

I am stressed and hopeful

I wonder what my future holds

I hear the pressure to do good

I see my future is bright

I want a career, family, and my own home

I am stressed and hopeful

I pretend that I don’t worry

I feel like I need to have more patience

I touch the hearts of kids' lives

I worry that I won’t be able to get the job I’ve always wanted

I cry when my mom pushes me too far

I am stressed and hopeful

I understand that things take time

I say that I need to enjoy each day instead of worrying about the future

I dream of a family and a life of my own

I try my best in school so that my future is bright

I hope that one day all my work will pay off

Tiny

This is my dog Tiny I have had her since I was like 10 years old and she was 2 when we got her. She is the sweetest little dog and loves everyone. She doesn't particularly like big dogs but she's pretty chill other than that. She is still thriving and striving and runs around like she's a puppy even though she's probably 13 years old.

I have always been an art kid. I was in gifted art in middle school and AP art in high school. This is a picture of when I won an award in middle school and the district office bought my artwork.

Halloween

I have always loved Halloween and the fall season! This is a photoshoot me and my friend did our junior year of high school. We carved actual pumpkins and stuck them on our heads. It was so fun and the pictures came out amazing.

Hunting

My dad is a hunter. It's his hobby and everyone knows him for it. When I started hunting he was over the moon. This was my first buck. It's a great time to spend with my dad and when we don't need the meat we give it to people who we know need food. Nothing goes to waste.

Papa

This is my papa his name is Harold. He is the nicest man ever and he is absolutely hilarious. He is so tall that my mom (his daughter) ended up being almost 6 foot tall. I however didn't get the gist.

Nana and Mimi

This is my nana (on the left) and mimi (in the middle). My nana is married to my papa in the other picture. Both my grandmas have been so good to me throughout my life. My mimi she is CRAZY and will talk to anyone about anything! My nana on the other hand she's a home body.

My Parents

This is my mama and daddy. I am an only child. Life is so much different because I'm their only kid. My mom is super strict and my dad just wants me happy. Growing up I became very independent. I was always alone and it didn't bother me. Even to this day it doesn't bother me just going and doing my own thing.

This is my best friend Victoria. I've know her since I was about 4 years old when we met in dance class. We've really gotten close since sophomore year of high school. She is also an only child so we sort of clicked right away. Life is kind of different nowadays because we're on different paths but no matter what we have each other's back because we're like sisters.

Nails

I love painting my own press on nails. It's a hobby I got into about a year ago. I have all the supplies to do them at home and I love how much money it saves by not having to go to the salon. It's so fun to design my own mails!

Crochet

I crochet in my free time. I think it's relaxing. I started crocheting the summer after I graduated and I've been doing it ever since. I started selling bags like these over the summer just to make some extra money and I may do it again next summer. I make all sorts of things like blankets, bags, keychains, beanies, and anything else you can think of.
