         <title>Building a Community of Learners in the First 30 Minutes</title>

         <title>Identifying and Building on Participants&#39; Prior Knowledge Throughout the Workshop</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>identifying the prior knowledge will be done in the pre workshop survey, by sending a short survey through google form  to gauge participants exisiting knowledge and interests</p><p>-Using polls and live Q &amp;A during the session (nearpod include implemented polls and open ended questions to check or build on participants prior knowledge )</p><ul><li><p>Check-ins and reflection prompts that will be done after the major parts of the session and I will ask participants to connect with their previous experiences.(this can be done in the chatbox )</p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <title>Ensuring Balance Between Facilitator- and Participant-Led Inquiries</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>-Structured breakoutrooms discussions where each participant will have a role in completing a task like discussion leader, note taker, presenter and make other rooms to give constructive feedback to encourge peer reflection , participants will lead parts of the session.</p><p><br/></p><p>-Guided inquiries : so WSL will share guiding questions or topics or reading activities  in advance and  allow time for participants to explore them then the facilitator will lead participants discussions </p><p><br/></p><p>-Shared Zoom whiteboard where participants can add questions and comments as the workshop progressed this can creates a space where they can guide part of the discussion.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p><strong>How will you incorporate opportunites for feedback?</strong></p><p> Miro this tools can create a shared reflection board, where participants can post sticky notes about the takeaways from the session , use glow and grow wriiten feedback, ladder of feedback startegy and star and stair feedback all these strategies can be done either using chat box, shared google slides (there is a room for peer feedback), padlet board for contionous reflection, set up columns for different stages of the workshop where participants can add takeaways, questionsm reflections, also mentimeter can be used as well for reflective polls or openended questions. using realtime feedback tool like (Slido)</p></li><li><p><strong>Leveraging the IB PowerPoint within the Virtual Medium</strong></p><p><br/></p><p>incorporating interactive elements rather than presenting slides passively and this what I did in knowledge artifact 2 I changed one of the direct teaching slides to interactive discussion , also I could include polls , quick discussion prompts , I can use annotation tools to draw attention to specific points and I can break down lengthy slides to present content in shorter segments , pausing for reflection after every few slides.</p></li></ol>]]></description>
