The tumbleweed of america first originated in Mother Russia. These crops were going extinct due to birds and the fridge cold weather.

Wheat grown is very flammable in fields. Guess what is also very flammable ( tumbleweed). The plants would come into fields and with the hot sun and dry land, burst into flames and burn the field down. This impacted humans due to the lack of wheat which is a necessary food supply for humans. Also fields of bugs and fungi would also burn and these fires would spread for miles burning down towns and forests.

Tumbleweed not only burned fields but caused massive damage to the world food chain. Humans starved and died due to famine and it caused bugs, birds, and native species to migrate to other areas and those organisms would die in the new places they visited. This caused the food chain to decrease because in the food chain it is a chain of events and one species decreasing causes and endless rapid decrease in all populations.

Tumbleweed migrating to America was a struggle fro the government to maintain. We still have not gotten a handle on them but since 1873 we have started to control the spread. And this was not a one country thing, but a global scale, and it impacted the world with a huge dent in the planets stability of life.
