How does the findings of Jim's scan and the mind reading discovery help answer theoretical questions in ways that existing measures cannot?

He found that psychopaths are made depending on the timing of epigenetic effects, genes and environment and when those were damaged. MAOA gene and environment are main components. Sex-Linked, the MAOA gene explains why most men are psychopaths because it only comes from the mother, caused by too much seratonin. Genes, stress, youth and violence are also main contributors of the making of a psychopath. Finding these genes and exposure to real world violence, people are more able to find a psychopathic child and it creates the opportunity for people to put in preventative methods in attempting to stop the psychopathic person before any actions are taken. The environmental harm is the only part that cannot be measured in order for a psychopath to be created

The frontal lobe's function is what develops personality, logic and problem solving in a person. Depending on the type of development, the quality of development and the environment one's lobe develops in, a person's personality is altered. Being human, there is more than just having a functioning brain and a developed frontal lobe to be who you are. There are external factors that define people as people within every society. Depending where one lives, the specific "requirements" to be human differ from place to place, but despite these requirements, being human is in reality no more than just being an organism of the homo sapien species. When personality, capability of comprehending advanced subjects and problem solving are factored into the equation, that is when the development of the frontal lobe comes into play. The more assisting "glue" cells in the brain that aid in the transporting of neurons, the more likely one is to be more intelligent, more logical. However, being human is merely the fact of existence.

1. The corpus callosum is the part of the brain that is severed, the function of this is to transfer information from the left to right side of the brain and vise versa
2. The right side of one's body is controlled by the left side of ones motor and sensory cortex and vise versa. Visually, things someone sees on the right side of their visual field are processed on the left side. Separation of the two hemispheres allows one to be able to do two things with two different tasks at once. Ability to speak is solely in the left hemisphere. Right brain does not control speak. Left hemisphere likes to explain why things. Ability to recognize faces in only in the right hemisphere. Right is more creative, left is more logical.
3. I would rather live without my left hemisphere because although that I would be less logical, it would be much more fun.
