The headline of an article from cnn, “Americans don’t like the
Shutdown and blame Trump” is saying or communicating to the audience that a vast majority or above 50% of Americans disagree with the Shutdown and the building of a wall. The article used a poll to explain how the majority feels about the shutdown. It’s not really taking sides of the conflict but it is pointing out how the people feels. I personally was curious about how the majority of the people felt about the shutdown and Trumps actions towards “helping” the situation with immigration.
