Their is some figurative language- cold icy kisses, metaphor providing her point of a hard-working woman. There is lots of personification in the last 4 Stanzas, like Shine on me, Sunshine.

Despair in the first stanza, she is getting depressed by talking about all the chores that she must do all these chores, creating more stress on herself, she is forced to use her time to do all these useless chores. Then the tone changes she is thankful that she has all this beautiful nature to look at, and all the content in life that she can enjoy

Woman work hard to support their family, the theme is even though you have to work, there is always something positive you can receive out of it, look at something enjoyable. Your day will always go full circle, and you could always look back and say "Damn that was a day."

This represents modern day Society because many people beleive that women are less respected than men. They do time consuming jobs that regular people can't do like being a mother or such.
