Copyright is a law from the a law that limits the usage of using other peoples stuff. A good example of this would be: asking permission to use some music or whatever in say a video that you will upload to a website. A bad example however, would be if you just searched the music and took it without asking or even mentioning the copyright owner.

Public domain's can be used by the public free of charge. You could go on a website and copy paste anything if its a public domain its a good idea to put the original creator's name. Although its not illegal to not give credit to the original creator it is a good idea.

Piracy is like stealing someones stuff and using it to make money. Ive seen someone steal music and upload it to a website and then copyright the original owner which obviously is not what one should do, you can get up to 5 years of prison for piracy. Just don't do it.

Fair use basically allows people to give an opinion on whatever it is they used with a limitation to how much you can use without permission. Some people have used more of say a song than is aloud (10% or no more than 30 seconds) which can possibly result in a lawsuit. Nothing will go wrong if you just use the correct percent or tie then is aloud.
