However, I would like to see more about the general awareness that we would like to raise about child labor. What I mean is a more general idea of what is going on in the Philippines that gives us the reason to write this. I think we focused on one specific story too quickly. We will accomplish this by doing more research outside just the gold mines in Philippines. I think we should find more research about world wide child labor and statistics like percentages and other things that will help show that child labor is not just in the Philippines and something needs to be done. So far, the thing that has pleased me the most about this project is that I firmly believe that there is something wrong with my topic. The problem with me is that I normally can never chose a topic I am passionate about, so this project has already started off on a good note. My group works very well together and we are on top of all our work. I feel that this project will go very well. I feel this way because my group is very productive and we all contribute to the group. We have all collected information that helps give us facts that will eventually help us write a good letter. Also everyone works equally which I like about my group. Another good thing is we all work together nicely and communicate well, also sometimes if we argue it is constructive criticism. I am very happy that we were not jamming in last minute edits or doing anything last minute. We worked very efficiently and everyone played an equal part that helped us get to the final product. Next year, I think that this project should be done individually because personally for me tasks like these are easier for me to complete on my own. But that completely depends on your personality. Advice that I would give to the future 8th graders is to chose a topic that you truly feel that something needs to be changed.
