         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Line Weight- The strength, heaviness, or darkness of a line. <br><br>Scribbling- To write or draw in a hasty or careless way. To make meaningless marks, scrolls, lines, etc., with a pencil, pen, or the like.<br><br>Cross Hatching- Crosshatching is an extension of hatching, which uses fine parallel lines drawn closely together to create the illusion of shade or texture in a drawing. Crosshatching is the drawing of two layers of hatching at right-angles to create a mesh-like pattern.<br><br>Hatching- Hatching is an artistic technique used to create tonal or shading effects by drawing (or painting or scribbling) closely spaced parallel lines. (It is also used in monochromatic heraldic representations to indicate what the tincture of a "full-color" emblazon would be.)<br><br>Color Theory-  In the visual arts, color theory is a body of practical guidance to color mixing and the visual effects of a specific color combination. There are also definitions (or categories) of colors based on the color wheel: primary color, secondary color, and tertiary color.</em></strong><br><br></div>]]></description>

For example, yellow, green-yellow, and green are categorized as analogous colors. The word 'analogous' is defined as two things with a similar function or feature that are comparable to one another. <br><br>Color Schemes:  Examples of analogous colors include violet, red-violet, and red as well as red-orange, orange, and yellow-orange.</em></strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Monochromatic- Containing or using only one color.<br><br>Complementary Colors- Complementary colors are two colors that are on opposite sides of the color wheel. As an artist, knowing which colors are complementary to one another can help you make good color decisions.<br><br>Triadic Colors- A triadic color scheme is comprised of three colors evenly spaced on the color wheel. The two most basic triadic palettes are the primary colors red, blue, and yellow and the secondary hues orange, purple, and green.   <br><br>Primary Colors-   A primary color is a color that cannot be made from a combination of any other colors. A secondary color is a color created from a combination of two primary colors. ... Printers and artists have different definitions for primary colors. The traditional primary colors that painters have used are red, yellow, and blue.</em></strong></div><div><strong><em><br>Secondary Colors- A color produced by mixing two additive primary colors in equal proportions. The secondary colors are cyan (a mixture of blue and green), magenta (a mixture of blue and red), and yellow (a mixture of green and red).   <br><br>Tertiary Colors- Tertiary colors are the resulting color formed when an equal amount of a primary and a secondary color are mixed.
