With the help of aid and radical church groups reformist political parties, domestic & international agencies, Latin America is calling for greater equality and redress for centuries of abuse of the indigenous population. There has been improvement since 1945, but there is still more needed progress before Latin America can achieve full equality because they are still the most underprivileged sector in Latin America.
