Quiet time for me has been very relaxing, as it allows me to take a break from my hectic academic mornings. Also, I feel like I can sort through my thoughts, which I rarely get to do because usually I am thinking about what homework or studying I have to do that day.

The lesson of love I heard in this story was that although we a limited time on earth, love is everlasting among those who cared for each other and were truly affectionate towards each other. Despite the presence of grief when we lose someone we love, it shows that they truly had a special place in our hearts and that we are reminded of their good presence on earth through our pain.

My thoughts on morality is that it’s a quality a person has that helps to define themselves as a person. It’s a quality of what’s right and wrong and it all depends on how we grew up and what the environment in which we grew up in was.

Maggie’s moral lesson is that memories and moments we experience don’t have to be filled with big, materialistic items, and that it’s usually the smallest of things, people, or animals that bring us the most joy and laughter, even in the darkest of times.
