As a school(Gr 3-8), we have noticed that our students have a very poor grasp on math facts (simple addition and subtraction, multiplication 1-9, etc). I am curious as to how we can improve this without a return to simple memorization of the items (flash cards etc). I am also hoping looking forward to making math more interesting to my students and to alleviate some of the anxiety that it brings to some of them.
