The possession I cherish the most is my ring. It is quite a simple design, yet incredibly beautiful because of the comfort it brings me. My mom had it made for me when she was pregnant, so it has a sentimental importance.

My favorite vacation was when I went to Thailand around 6 years ago. The people of Thailand are very hospitable and will always greet you with a smile. All of the wonderful colors of nature make it extremely beautiful. Thai cuisine, culture, and history are also very distinguishable and unlike anything here in Europe. Even if I was attacked by a monkey during my stay there, Thailand is one of the most colorful countries I have ever seen!

I currently live with my mom and my cat Amira, which means "princess" in Arabic. My cat is way too big for her age, she hates everyone, but she sometimes tolerates me and my mom. I don't live with my older brother and my dad, but I do see them often.

After ACS I'm hoping to study in the United States, especially Yale University. I would like to study international relations or international law both with a focus on human rights. Social issues have interested me before coming to ACS, which is why I have started working towards solving different social issues(You can take a look at the photo). If the US doesn't work out, I might stay here in Europe or study in the Middle East or Asia.

By the time I'm 70, I hope to have a loving family and to have succeeded in my career, in order to secure my family. I also want to have helped inspire other people throughout my life. I wish I won't have too many regrets and I would be surrounded by supportive people.

a) My favorite possession is my bed. I love the safe space it creates for me

b) My favorite vacation so far has been to Malaysia. I went there last Christmas and the reason I enjoyed myself so much was because I touched on a wholly different culture. It was fascinating how the same species (people) can be so continentally diverse. I had a look inside a new perspective, way of life and culture as a whole

c) I have no siblings and while I often quarrel with my parents, I am very fond of my grandmother from my mother's side. I have both my grandmothers' names (since both are named Siika) and oftentimes I find myself being drawn to them, not only as a person from a different time period, but also as a fundamental part of how I am formed as a person. Listening to their stories of the past are the most enjoyable part during my stay with them.

d) I try to aim high after I graduate. My reach universities are UCLA, NYU and Colombia film schools. I am willing to work very hard to be part of their program, but I will not be disappointed if I go to film schools in Prague, Rome or Berlin.

e) I imagine I would feel content at 70, if I:

1) have a comfortable pension and home at the time

2) my career has had a positive impact on people and art as a whole

3) Be part of a secure and cohesive family

a) My favorite possession is a golden chain, which has a small plate with my name on it. It is a gift from my mother's uncle, a close family member of mine, who unfortunately, we can't see that often, due to several reasons. That chain is something nobody has done for me before, thus it is so special.

b) My favorite vacation has been in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I absolutely loved the city, with all of its canals and the architecture is just amazing. The Dutch people were welcoming, and despite what several people have told me before, I didn't have a single problem as a foreigner there. The infrastructure, the markets, the bars, the atmosphere... it was incredible. That's my dream city now.

c) I currently live with my parents, even though I have a sister, but she has been studying and working abroad for the last five years now. I don't have a pet, but I bugging my parents about a dog for years!

d) I aim for the best universities in Europe for International and/or European law -- Oxford, Cambridge, UvA, UCL, LSE, UCL, Maastricht, Bocconi, etc. That's my focus as of now since Law as a field of study has been a dream of mine for the last maybe 10 years.

e) By the time I am 70, I would be at peace if I:

- have a loving family (a wife, kids, grandkids)

- but also have enough money so I wouldn't worry that much and have a sense of security.

a)

Material possessions indeed test my limits of emotion, yet I choose not to place value on them. Instead, I try to preserve the warm memory of the person and their kindness. A friendship bracelet cannot properly express the depth of a companionship, nor a lily bouquet the extent of grief for a loved one. Material possessions could suggest that certain relations and states of mind become constant if we attach ourselves enough, which is impossible. Hence, I choose to value all the variables and the present choices behind them.

b) your favorite vacation

My favorite vacation was to Seattle, WA. I traveled when I was 12 years old with my mom and her parents to visit my uncle's family. This memory holds a special place in my heart as it was one of those rare cases when we got to be together. I was fascinated by the city's industrialization, the active, yet intellectually engaged lives of the citizens, and Xenobia Bailey and Chihuly's vibrant works of art.

c)

My family consists of my mother, with whom I live, as well as my dad and younger sister. I also consider my best friend family. I wish to have a black sphynx cat for a pet, as they are extremely elegant and playful.

d)

I wish to go to university and study multiple subjects, as I try to avoid falling into an echo chamber of narrow thinking.

e)

By the time I am 70, I want to do something meaningful and selfless- even if it is just for a small community or one person. I will re-read all the great books I encountered as a youth and see how my perception has been altered with time, especially Emily Dickinson’s poems and one of my favorite books, Slaughterhouse 5. In Kurt Vonnegut’s universe the tralfamadorians view moments as constant and simultaneous. I agree with this interpretation as certain memories live forever within us, guide our behaviors, and hence produce similar results in the present. I wonder if I will still view behavioral patterns in this way, and whether I would be skeptical of the concept of free will. I also want to exit my house for a walk with my sphynx cat and immediately see my name outside.

a) I do not have one single favorite possession, but I could say that my jewelry (rings, necklaces) is the one value the most because each one of the things I wear has a meaning or has been given to me by an important person.

b) I used to travel a lot, so this is a difficult question. I'll go with the vacation we went on this summer. Me and my parents went to Italy just like we do every year, except this summer we went to Calabria (a region in the very Southern part of continental Italy) for 3 days, and then flew back to Sicily. There, we rented a small boat for a few hours, enjoyed the sunny weather, dived, and looked at fishes, rocks, and the beauty of the sea.

c) I am a single child, but I have two cousins that have always been very close to me. The whole family unites together on holidays each year.

d) My plans are still not entirely clear, but for now, I am thinking of studying corporate law abroad, more specifically in Germany.

e) I hope to achieve peace with myself and with the people that are the closest to me. I hope to have found my purpose in life and other more simple things such as having a beautiful house by the sea where I can rest with the people I love. But the most important thing of all mentioned would be to have achieved enough to be able to afford waking up in the morning and doing whatever comes to my mind without having to worry about financial and mental limitations.

Many objects in my house are valuable to me, but my favorite is my computer. I use it every day instead of the Chromebooks, but I synchronized it to work the way I want to. I use it, of course, also in my free time when I play video games, watch films, and many other stuff that require an electronic device.

My favorite vacation was actually this spring when I went on a trip with my family to Madrid. It is a special city for me because there plays my beloved football team Real Madrid and we watched them play in the most modern stadium in the world. The other reason why this trip is so special for me is because it was the first time when I needed to organize everything by myself - plane and match tickets, accommodation, and what to see in the capital of Spain. That work made my experience in the city more pleasurable because everything was the way I wanted it to be.

My family consists of my parents as well as my two older brothers and most importantly my chinchilla called Misha. All, except for my mum, are huge football fans. The ironic thing is that all of them are fans of Barcelona, and just I support Real Madrid. At the current moment my brothers don’t live with us, but when we meet we most commonly play football and tennis because it is what we all like to do.

After graduating from ACS I desire to practice Bulgarian law because I 100% want to live in Bulgaria afterward, so the best place to do so is probably Sofia University, and after graduating from there I may go abroad where I haven’t decided yet what I want to study because it is probably 7 years into the future and many things can change.

By the time I am 70, on a personal level, I would like to be still living in Bulgaria with my wife, children, and grandchildren living happily in our homeland. On a professional level, I would like to have contributed to our country in some way. Most importantly I would like to have taken the opportunities that life got me because the feeling of regret is stronger than that of failure.

a) In terms of material possessions it is difficult for me to choose a specific one as I love objects. My home is so full of lots of things - books, antiques, seashells, junk... If I have to make the impossible decision I shall consider my love to the object based on its origin, usage and legacy. So after this I am still separated between two - my piano sheet music copy of "Pictures at an Exhibition" from Henle Verlag and an old coin I possess. As a pianist it would be expected from me to say the piano, but I see her as a person and not a material object and that is why I have chosen the sheet music of my all time favourite piano composition. The book is a regular one with the typical blue paper cover, but the fact that it contains the most genius music ever and that it is mine is just amazing. Of course, it is not kept as a museum artifact and has the signs of love on it - broken back, small curves on the edges and pencil markings. I have spent 9 months with this sheet music and being almost finished with it I feel both proud and delighted and I also feel my special bond with the booklet. On the other hand, my other special item is an old golden coin from Catherine the Great's reign of the Russian Empire. I believe it is a great piece of history, but it is also special because of its legacy and the fact that it is a gift from my grandfather.

b) I love traveling and I am so glad that my family has the lucky chance to be able to go abroad three times a year on average. The criteria for a favourite location for me are the atmosphere of the place, its historical significance and most importantly its relation with arts. That is why my favourite vacation is probably when we went to Prague. It was a magical experience in spring and the city looked absolutely stunning. We visited the museums and enjoyed beautiful art installations and galleries with world famous paintings. Probably though the best part was feeling like Svejk there with the atmosphere was so jolly (even without beer).

c) My family are interesting critters. My mother has a long and scandalous backstory having lived in the USSR, FRG, GDR, India and Czechia. She has a lot to say but prefers to create suspense by remaining quite at times. We also live with my grandmother who adds up even more to the peculiar career picture with her business experience. In the house with us lives our dog Archie who is a cutie pie. I also have a bigger brother and sister who live separately abroad with their new families. In general I can't say that I don't enjoy spending time with them, but still family sometimes is a bit too much for me and I prefer the comfort of the solitude of my mind.

d) To be honest I am kind of scared about my academic future. I see a lot of people around me being sure of their career choices and there I am not even knowing what I want to work. I suppose I shall be heading to the sphere of humanitarian sciences as this is dearest to my heart. If I decide to study literature or history I have put the goal for myself that I need to work for a Ph.D. in order to be able to work as a professor in a university and give lectures. I also have the feeling I will choose either Britain, or the Eastern Block as my studying destination, but time will tell. Ultimately I want to enjoy my studies and not force myself through them. (The alternative plan B has always been to go for piano and conducting and experience the life of the artist :3).

e) By the time I grow old I really want to be able to look back and be proud of myself. The best way to do this in my opinion is to have accomplished something memorable in terms of it being applicable to the public, or in other words being useful for the life of people of the culture of mankind. Best case scenario, I will have been able to teach a few generations of students and have earned a great reputation. But for sure my dream is to write a novel so great that it stays in time as a classic. Another dream of mine would be to look back after 50 years and have some musical accomplishments. By that I mean having for example recorded some great pieces and having left a trace with a vinyl or two of piano music. But that remains in the future as now I have to focus on actually setting the ground for such enormous success.

a) My favourite possession is my photos, I scroll through the ones on my phone several times a day and the ones on paper are proudly displayed on my walls. Some may say that is living in the past, but I couldn't disagree more. These people are my present and the moments captured give me a feeling of home every time. I can't narrow it down to a favourite photo. Each of them I love endlessly. However, one I have at a special place on my wall. My friends and I at a Christmas bazaar. This one I wouldn't ever want to lose.

b) My favourite vacation was one I took with my friends. We went to Greece. I go to Greece with my family often, we have a lot of fun and I love our holidays, but my friends and I had the most chaotic experience trying it out for the first time. It was such an amazing time and I just loved being surrounded by my people. I valued every talk we had and every fight. It's like learning how to live with these guys, even just for a week or two. Having said that, there are no other people I would have shared my summer with.

c) My family are the people most valuable to me in life. I always rely on them and look at them first for support. My mother is the most ambitious person I know. She and my father are incredibly hard workers. I adore them a lot. I also have a younger brother, who is the brains of the family and my best friend, and a dog, who is the cutest, most amazing little creature imaginable.

d) My educational goals are still so unknown to me. I would love to expand my horizons, study more and grow as a person. I want to study psychology, but my goals go beyond that. Mostly I want to be a good and smart person, who has studied as much as possible to help the world in the future.

e) If I reach the age of 70, I would love to look back and see one thing. The happiness I shared with my people, my friends, my family. And if I am able to look back while I still have these people by my side, smiling as we are now, I will be the most accomplished person in the world.

When I first started thinking about my favourite possession I really couldn't think of anything. I'm usually very sentimental, however, I've changed a lot and I stopped being so attached to objects. But then it came to me - I constantly change and therefore my favourite things change in the span of days. So this is how I will approach this topic. My favourite RECENT possession is a silver necklace my mom gave me a few days ago. Since I'm always repeating "Oh Geez" when something happens my mom decided to make a little joke and on the necklace is actually Mary (mother of Jesus). It is like a little inside joke between us but I said that it will keep me save (help me survive ;D) this school year so I've been wearing it every day since I received it.

My favourite vacation is also not an easy topic. I love traveling (like almost every young person) and I do it a lot so I have lots of great vacations. However, my mind always stops on two. One of them is special because of the place itself and the other one is special because of the person I was with and the memories we made together and the emotions those memories continue to evoke. The "special place" would be Vienna. I visited it for the second time in December 2022 and it was really more memorable. Maybe because of the Christmas mood. Vienna is my favourite place in the world. I just feel at home there. It feels more home than my home in Sofia. I feel in the right place when I'm there. I loved visiting the Sisi museum since I'm a huge fan of studying royal life and I'm a particularly huge fan of her herself. I loved the food there even though it wasn't some sophisticated cuisine or something extraordinary. However, the simple things there taste like home. The wursts, the cinnamon rolls, the roasted chestnuts... I also enjoyed visiting a private mini concert where they played classical music. I play the piano myself but I'm also a fan of classical music overall too. Even though the weather was unimaginably freezing I actually enjoyed the feeling of wearing three layers of clothes and the feeling of the soft merino wool scarf touching my face, warming my neck. Even though the weather was unwelcoming it was giving me a cozy feeling. Enough about that vacation. My second favourite vacation was one of my this year's summer vacations. I was in Primorsko alone with my best friend. It was crazy because we had all the freedom in the world, however, we didn't do anything wrong or illegal and still had an amazing time. We enjoyed A LOT OF tasty food, we enjoyed good service (not sure if it was only because of pretty privilege), and I got to make lots of new friends. People from all over Bulgaria. People close to my age. I met great people, some of which I'm still in contact with. My favourite memory was definitely our midnight walks. We have dinner, then dessert, then we had a walk, went back to the hotel to rest, and then around 12AM or 1AM we went out and just walked, and walked, and walked... Around 3AM the streets were completely free. It was very relieving since we went during the peak of the summer season in Primorsko and there were lots of people on the streets constantly. The moment it had become quiet we were just sitting near the sea and engaged in deeper talks while stargazing. I've never felt so much freedom before. Freedom of speach, freedom of actions. Sure, we didn't get lots of sleep some nights and missed half of the days, however, this freedom helped me to connect with myself more and that led to a reinvention for me. The impact of this vacation on my character was huge and the feelings it brought will forever stay unforgettable.

My family is a family of four. I have a little 10-year-old sister. I'm honestly not really attached to my family so I cannot speak much about them, however, I'm actually grateful for that because that makes it easier for me to pursue my dreams which they've always supported. That is something I will forever be grateful of.

For now, my education goals after ACS are towards international law. However, as I said I'm constantly changind and I believe it is far more important now to learn to be more connected with myself, know myself better, explore my interests, and focus on that how I feel about every single one of them in order for me to make the best decision about my life after ACS. I believe that the best opportunity for me will find me when I simply find myself.

By the time I'm 70 years old I believe I will have achieved everything I've wanted in life and the most important thing for me is to build a family. No matter how much I love my parents some day I want to create a family of my own, have my own children, and be a parent myself. At the end of the day my future career and the money I'll be making (because I KNOW I will succeed in that) worth absolutely nothing if I don't have anyone to share that with. It may sound stupid to call it a "dream" because I know it will happen, however, it is really a dream of mine to have a family, children, and grandchildren by the age of 70. I will love them with all my heart and I can die peacefully when they've become the best version of themselves and just let me be proud of them.

The possession that has the highest value to me is my watch. It is a gift from my father and I wear it every day. It helps me know what time it is whenever I decide to check, but it also reminds me that our time as humans is not to spare and we better aim to use it wisely and effectively.

My favorite vacation was last year from July 16 - July 23 in Zadar, Croatia. I was playing in an Open Chess tournament and it went quite well. Croatia had a lot to offer - from beautiful beaches, great architecture, and culture to wonderful sea landscapes and friendly and positive people. To top it off, I performed quite well on the tournament, gaining a healthy amount of coefficient rating points (Elo), as well as winning a prize of 200 euro.

My family involves 4 people and one cat. I live with both my father and my mother. I also have a 9-year-old sister and she does get to annoy me quite often, but I know that this is purely from her love to me. The final member of my family is my British shorthair male cat, Panayot - named after the bulgarian rebel and fighter for Bulgarian freedom - Panayot Hitov because of his long and dense moustache. Panayot is now two years 5 months and 9 days old and something that hasn't changed is his ability to sleep for 18 hours a day and look as if he has been constructing skyscrapers all day.

My education goals after the college are a bit unclear for now. I am not aiming particularly for universities in the USA, but rather in Europe. Since I study the German language I have been researching universities in Europe that will allow my German skills which I hopefully will develop in the next year or two to come in handy. Countries such as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Belgium, the Netherlands, as well as some others, are my choices for now, but time will prove what is the best fit for me. In terms of what I would want to study - it could be related to law as my mother is working in that area, but political sciences and international relations are also possibilities worth exploring. Overall, I am not the most oriented student at ACS in terms of career orientation, but I certainly have some ideas and goals, which I hope I will manage to achieve by the end of my journey here at ACS.

By the time I am 70 years of age, which I hope is I time I will live to see, I hope to have achieved the following things: Firstly - to have found a great partner who has been supporting me for my entire life, and vice versa, because if in my last years on this planet I have nobody to sleep next to and talk to - nobody who has been with me for that time, well, I think I would have lived a life that I never enjoyed. Secondly - I hope I have great and healthy kids and even grandkids. I believe that is a big part of the meaning of life - having left something in this world that will represent you in some shape or form and will keep your traits alive even after you are not. Of course, I hope I will not live in poverty, and I hope I will live away from any war territory - for me, war is one of, if not, the most ferocious act in this world and I believe no human deserves to experience it. And lastly, I hope that by age 70 I have further improved my chess skills so I can go and play at local parks from time to time and beat the younger generations just to feel good about myself :)

a) My favorite possession is a necklace my mother gifted to me that was gifted to her by my father right after I was born. I own a lot of jewelry but I protect that necklace very carefully, because it symbolizes the connection with my mother and my birth as a turning point in her life.

b) My favorite vacation is a trip I went on with my mother right before the beginning of 8th grade. We went to London and saw the musical Hamilton. It was a great experience because it was the first trip we got to go on by ourselves, but also because musicals and especially Hamilton have been a passion of mine that I refuse to admit.

c) I have no siblings and I live with my mother, father and dog. I am quite close to my parents because they have never really treated me like a child and have always spoken to me the way they would to a grown person. I am also very fond of my grandfather, because I find him very inspiring. He is currently 73 and remains one of the most physically active people I have seen. He hikes at least twice a week and rides his bike everywhere all while being in a bad health condition.

d) After ACS I want to study in the US, ideally in Harvard or Princeton. I want to major in international relations or political science and minor in social studies, because I'm specifically interested in the topic of classism as a social issue.

e) By the time I'm 70 I want to be financially secure, because it would make everything easier and less stressful. I also want to have a stable family and to have become successful professionally. Finally, I hope to have traveled a lot in my lifetime.

I can't say that I have a favorite possession. I cherish other things in life - non-material ones. However, for me most precious are always the possessions with meaning - either presents from close people, stones I collect from beaches all around the world, souvenirs.

Last spring me and my family went to Egypt and this is definitely my favorite vacation. It was astonishing! Only two hours from Sofia by plane, Egypt is a whole new world! So many things shocked me there, connected to the way people live. This trip changed me as I realised once more how privileged I am to live in such good conditions. I saw children ready to do anything for us, just to get only one dollar. Otherwise, I was impressed by the sights - The Pyramids, all the giant temples, the culture. We also went on a cruise on the Nile river for three days and we visited a Nubian village where they taught us African danses and we touched a baby crocodile.

My family consists of me, my brother who is two years younger than me, and my parents. I also have a dog, fish, and two parrots. We are fifteen animals at home...

After ACS, I am thinking mostly about studying law. Universities in Europe are what I aim for, I don't feel like studying in the US.

I dream of having a huge family - children, grandchildren, etc. I also dream of living peacefully, satisfied with myself and my life experience.

a) My favorite possession - It may not sound as sentimental as other's answers but I realized there is nothing I possess that I fear losing AS MUCH as my gallery of photos. There, I store all my memories and I record the most important moments of my life. I fear that I will forget some of them if I don't keep them all in one place.

b) My favorite vacation was to the Barrier reef, Australia, this august. I will never forget all the colors from the corals and fish and how the light danced on the water surface. My other favorite vacation would be to the Maldive islands in 2017, when I swam with sea turtles for the first time and they became my favorite animal at first sight. I've always adored snorkeling more than any other hobby, and now I had the oppurtunity to try begginer diving. Almost every time I get distracted in class I'm daydreaming about the ocean and the reefs.

c) My family consists of my parents, my older brother (22) and I. Our newest member, Rea, is a 1 year old golden retriever which I'm fully convinced my parents love more than either of their kids (just kidding, maybe). We love travelling together and we even take the dog in the back of the car when we go to the Bulgarian seaside, where we spend most of our summers.

d) My university choice is unclear for now, however I will certainly stay in Europe and I plan on living there for my entire life. Everywhere else I have visited hasn't felt like a potential home so for now, I'm certain I'll stay. Wherever I go, I want to be comfortable and feel a sense of belonging.

e) In 70 years, I'm hoping to have traveled most of the world and established my life with a loving family somewhere in Europe. I want to feel fully comfortable with who I am and to be able to trust the people around me completely, with my life.

a) My favorite item is a matching ring that I got with my best friend. Even though the ring is silver, the value is purely sentimental to me. We chose them together, which adds to it. I also believe it to be a lucky item, as every time I have something important coming up, I wish on it. It hasn't let me down yet.

b) This year specifically, I've had two vacations that I absolutely loved. One of them was back in May, when my older brother and I went to London by ourselves. We flew in from two different countries and met at the airport near the city. We went there to catch a concert primarily, but knowing the city pretty well, we were able to freely visit some locations and events that we really wanted to go to. We had a great time over there -- I managed to buy some stuff I had been wanting for a while and he, as a photographer, took many pictures of us together that I am very fond of.

The second vacation took place during this summer -- I had the opportunity to go to Los Angeles. I went there by myself and I managed to meet a lot of great people. I also visited a couple of locations that I've always dreamed of going to. It's one of my best memories ever.

c) I live with my mom and dog the majority of the time. My brother is a university student, so he is mostly away, apart from the holidays he always comes back for. My father is currently staying in Greece, so I always visit him when I have days off from school. He has a bunch of cats who randomly decided to live in his backyard. They are all adorable.

d) While I'm still figuring some aspects of it out, I have decided to pursue a further education in cinema - screenwriting, directing, and acting are all things that I am actively doing, so I would have to choose between them. I am also applying to universities in both the US and in Europe, as there are many good schools scattered all throughout. No matter what I study though, I am sure I am going to pursue acting as a main career.

e) Helping others has always been a main point in life. I've been feeding stray cats and dogs for as long as I can remember and I practically grew up on a farm. It brings me a great sense of happiness to know that I have contributed to somebody's life, and this extends to people, too. It is also the reason why I chose to pursue acting. I believe that through truthful performances of flawed characters, you could make others recognize themselves and realize that they are not alone and they are understood. Knowing I have achieved this, as well as knowing I have lived my life to the fullest, by the time I am seventy will bring me peace.
