The Flower Fair in Medellín.

One of Colombia's most important cultural traditions is the Flower Fair, held every year in the city of Medellín. During this festival, silleteros (flower bearers) parade through the streets carrying large floral arrangements, known as silletas, on their backs. This tradition symbolizes rural labor, love of nature, and the history of the Antioquia region. The fair also includes concerts, orchid exhibits, and classic car parades. It's a joyful celebration that brings families together, attracts tourists from around the world, and highlights the country's cultural richness. Therefore, the Flower Fair isn't just a celebration, but a way to preserve Colombian identity and pride.
