The organize cleanup events with volunteers just like me and you to pick up trash, plastic waste, etc. along Hawaii's beaches.  They hold a cleanup event once or twice a month.

One of its services is to help clients achieve the goal of meeting criteria of some of the green building programs such as LEED. Aulani was one of their clients who seek to become sustainable. The architectural company itself selectively chose a LEED certified building, Pacific Guardian Center as its office site. Sustainable practices include reducing annual water consumption of 1,090,000 gallons and a 80% green cleaning product purchasing rate.

Not only do they do the basic recycling, but they harvest fruits their school garden, each of their buildings have solar panels, there's an energy lab where students research anything from neuroscience and seismic activity to advanced computer science and drone technology. Sustainability projects, with everything from independent research and student initiatives to project-based learning in the school gardens, are passed down from student to student.
