The teacher shows the butterfly pattern in the book and guides the children to observe different textures (such as dots, stripes, overlapping colors, etc.).

Explain that today we will make a "butterfly with magic texture" together.

[Practical session]

➤ First stop: Splattering area

Dip a hard-bristled toothbrush in paint and flick it on the paper to create a spot effect.

➤ Second stop: Dry brush area

Dip a dry brush in paint and brush out striped textures on the paper.

➤ Third stop: Layering area

Apply one color to the first layer, and then apply another layer after it dries.

➤ Fourth stop: Wax resist area

First use white crayons to draw patterns on paper, then apply paint, and "magic lines" will appear!

Children can cut out the shape of butterfly wings and collage textured paper into a unique butterfly.
