         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hosting a <em>Book Tasting </em>is a fun, engaging way to get students excited about reading while also exposing them to titles they may not choose themselves.<em> </em>Students get to sample from a variety of book flavors (genres) in hopes they will expand their palates and try something new. Mrs. Baker and Mrs. Harper always prepare an extensive menu of delights that will, hopefully, leave guests feeling satisfied. You have the opportunity to taste some books as well at STATION 6. Be sure to complete the Reflection on your napkin to provide feedback for the chefs. Bon appetite! </div>]]></description>

Forty-five students across grade levels have volunteered their service as Library Ambassadors this year. They work at the Help Desk, process and then run book holds to homerooms, create bulletin boards, pull/shelve books, help other students, and even help assist with the creation of library promotions. Their voices help guide programming and instruction.
