I know it sounds tough, after all we have been through, for so long, but we don't feel the connection anymore. We have long been your subjects, always oppressed by you, but we feel that now is the time that we take action.

Under your oppression, we have wanted to gain the liberty of our empire, eliminate any chance of being enslaved again, and want to live independent lives. This is because many of us have died fighting for our liberty and being free from enslavement, so we would rather die than live through your oppression.

To us, independence means that we will never be enslaved again, that we will be able to live with liberty, and separate from you. We will do so by selecting a righteous leader to distance ourselves from you, forever denouncing you, choosing to die rather than living under your rule, and dying in battle to accomplish our independence. So, starting in 1791, we will revolt and fight for this independence, and on January 1st, 1804, we will officially declare our break-up and independence from you.
