         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>-Educators should be culurally responsive and self-reflective in order to address our own underlying biases.<br><br>-Educators should know that being an ELL isnt a disability, and that ELL students should be held to reasonably high expectations in the classroom.<br><br>-Educators should be willing to apply the constructivist approach to teaching. Promoting an inquiry based learning environment.<br><br>- Educators should have a "Deep Knowledge" of their students. Having the ability to relate and draw upon an ELL student's past cultural experiences will help make classroom learning more meaningful for the student.</div>]]></description>

Be conscious of what is working for your students and what isn't. Differentiate instruction and assessment types based on your students' needs.</div>]]></description>
