Many of his art pieces are beautiful and have a lot of details. However, the reason I especially chose this picture is because I could imagine the vibe from this picture. When I saw this drawing at the first time, I thought it would be really cold night, when I can see my breath, and it would be around midnight, when everybody might have gone to sleep. He looks worrying something and I guess it must not have an easy answer, or this person could be the artist himself.

In the second picture they seem to be crossing the road to a hotel but are stopped by a carriage and for five horses seems to have no way of giving people a sense of helplessness. I think this picture shows that there are many poor people in life who need help, they have on way to deal with some difficulties, they need others to give more care. Firstly, I do not like arts and I do not care about it but today when we went to Macquarie arts gallery, I saw some pictures and I really like it.

This painting is one of the most beautiful arts of Peter Chapman, which is a carton picture but I think it has many feelings in it. Also it has a lot of details and many types of colors. In addition, when I see it at first time I believed I can feel it. Also I think the man comes back for his wife.s

Today, I went to the Macquarie Art Gallery, and I saw various beautiful paintings. I don’t know the title of this painting I chose, but I think the appropriate title is “a man smoking on the ridge”. This is a simple painting used black, white, blue, and yellow. However, these colors are mixed well, which portrays that a man is thinking of something seriously, in my view. In addition, a man looks cold as he is wearing a coat and boots Also, I am sure what a man is on the ridge might express his something big decision. The moon was also portrayed to give him bright. Therefore, this painting expresses the bright and darkness of him.

The painting I chose

Today I went to the Macquarie University art gallery. In this place I found a picture which is very interesting. We can see, there is a dark night, and an old man is walking with his dog.

I think he is a homeless man, the reason is there is a swig in his right hand. In his other hand, he is taking a bag. I think he is so tired, but he have to keep walking, and the surrounding is desolate.

The painting is so simple, but it makes me think a lot. I don't know why, when I see the picture I can calm down.

It is a beautiful room which currently displays the work of Peter Chapman.

Who is he?

Chapman was born in 1925 and died in 2016 in his hometown of Narrabri, New South Wales. He is known as a veteran Australian comic-book artist and recognized for his talent in drawing and painting of Australian comics and book covers.

One of his artworks I really love named is “No Wedding Ring”. I guess that this gives messages to model life which is influenced by money, freedom, individualism and extreme pragmatism. Perhaps other people 's opinion is totally different from mine. However, I think all of us agree that art is always bringing new abundant things to our world.

Many famous paintings created by Peter Chapman has been exhibited in there. Peter Chapman is an one of most prolific comic-book artists in Australia. I felt all of his art works are vividly and we can understand his meaning when we appreciate. We can see many details in his paintings, such as people's face, lines and forms of buildings. My favourite painting is that a sailing vessel navigating by water and there are three seagulls in the sky. I can see the sailing vessel has a difficult journey because I felt waves are roaring and the sailing vessel trying to keep balance. This art work gives me more imagination. I think everyone in the world like a sailing vessel and life is full of challenges and difficulties like strong waves. Sometimes some people make us feel happy like a few of seagulls. Most of time, however, we just floating on the sea and struggling with life.
