Hello, fellow students. I have been teaching English for about twenty five years. For the past 5 years I have been teaching in a Secondary Senior High school in Greece (in the area of Kaisariani). The reason I am taking this course is to try and make the best of culturally diverse communities. I believe that the best way to help these students would be for all the teachers to co-operate with the Municipality of the area as well as other formal institutions. I always try to explain to my students the difference between migrants and refugees. Last year we did one on migration and I think it helped my students a lot to understand what drives some people to behave the way they do.
