Covid had a lot of impacts in my life. My world flipped upside down, the school was online, I couldn't see my friends and everything was uncertain. It was a rollercoaster of emotion and I felt isolated for a long time. Everyone I knew and even people I don't know were affected. It was a global thing, but still, it felt very personal because we all had our own struggles with it. It’s still affecting me, honestly , it’s true that everything is normal again but there's a lasting feeling of change. Things aren’t the same as they were before, and some days it feels like we’re still at that time

Middle school was a significant time for me. It wasn't just about academics, it was about figuring out who I was and where I belong. However, everything changed because of covid-19. I missed out on many middle school experiences, like big events and hanging out after school. But this period taught me a lot about resilience. It was a major experience for me and my classmates, and I never realized how we all navigated in our own ways. Everyone was trying to adapt to the new normal, so we shared that experience together even if we don't discuss it much. At that moment it felt like an endless stretch of time. But looking back now, it seems like just a phase. It's still a part of who I am today, especially in how I managed those challenging years.

My friends and i talked about it a lot we all were going through it together, but it was also very individual with our own fears and hopes wrapped up in one test the stress lasted until i got he result, but after that it was over i learned a lot of from that experience, but it wasn't something that stuck with me long term.

The first day of high school on 09/9/2023 was a significant moment for me. Everything felt more serious, more grown up. I remember feeling excited but also nervous about fitting in. It’s one of those days that stands out in your life because it marks the start of a new chapter. While it was a big deal for everyone to start high school, it was still a personal experience for me. I met a ton of new people and had that feeling of “ who am I in this new environment” . The impact lasted for a few weeks, filled with nerves and excitement, but now it's just another memory. I'll always remember how I felt that day, even if it faded into the background of my high school experience.

When I first worked as a babysitter in January,25,2024 I felt like it was the start of adulthood, having to balance school ,work and life. I felt proud but also a little overwhelmed by the new responsibility. This was a personal event, but I knew the majority of others my age are going through the same thing. It's a big step for many people. That feeling is still definitely ongoing. Every day at work is a new learning experience, and I can see how it’ll shape my future in terms of work ethic and independence.

Moving to a whole new country was a massive change. It wasn’t just about adjusting to a new place. I left everything I knew, I felt both excited and sad and it wasn’t easy to adjust, I missed home and it felt like I was starting fresh. It really impacted me and my family, but it also changed how I see the world. We got to experience a new culture, meet new people and learn different things. It wanted just us moving, many others were making similar changes at that time too. It took some time to adjust. Even now, after a few years, it still feels like home is both here and back there, but it's definitely part of who I am writing now.

Losing my grandma was one of the hardest things I've ever experienced, she was such a huge part of my life and her passing left a gap that I don't think I'll ever heal from. There are days where I feel like I should call her or visit her. It really made me realize how precious life is. It affected my entire family, especially those of us who were closest to her, but even people who weren't as close with her felt it because she was such an important figure in our life. The pain is still with me even though the time has passed. Some days are easier, but I know it’ll always be part of me, I carry her memory with me everyday
