         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>1) Depression and C-PTSD - Experience of prolonged physical and sexual trauma perpetuated by someone she could not easily escape. Experienced symptoms(nightmares, difficulty trusting, anxious, difficulty concentrating, intrusive memories/images, very negative self-beliefs and about the world, sleeping a lot, fatigue, little pleasure in world, little appetite, significant weight loss, and is easily startled) for a period greater than one year.&nbsp;<br><br>Co-morbid with weekly drug use.&nbsp;<br><br>2) The abuse was carried out over a period of time by someone she was not able to escape from(care giver? Hallmark of betrayal in abuse). Exasperated by bullying and physical assault at school.&nbsp;<br><br>3) Wendy's strengths and resources. Affect congruent with her cognition. Willing to take responsibility. Self-reflective. Through process are clear and coherent. Friendly, empathetic, and appears intelligent. Committed to rebuilding relationship with son. Positive relationship with cousin Hermoine. Has proven administration skills, and the desire to improve her skills. Very good insight and has a lot of self knowledge.&nbsp;<br><br>4) Hermoine. GP, Psyc and Psychiatrist. AoD support - peer group? C-PTSD support group? Financial management and support. Not in recovery plan, but netball team in network? Studying in tafe - new friends? Community involvement to build networks not in drugs. Legal aid and advocate in child services? Perhaps partner if willing to participate? Community financial counselor&nbsp;<br><br>5) Advocate in child services and support, community mental health service, Allied Health/GP<br><br>6.1)&nbsp;<br>1) Re-establish contact/relationship with Tom (top priority, but not to happen immediately. Will guide overall pathway?)&nbsp;<br>2) To not hate who she is&nbsp;<br>3) Not using drugs&nbsp;<br>Finding a Job<br>Paying her bills on time --&gt; Community financial counselor&nbsp;<br>Having people in her life (friends)&nbsp;<br>Mental health generally (Not having nightmares and intrusive thoughts/memories/images&nbsp;<br>To find enjoyment in life - the things she used to enjoy, and new experiences&nbsp;<br>To live independently in her own place&nbsp;<br>To have more energy&nbsp;<br>To have better physical health<br>To not always be 'looking out' for danger<br><br><br>6.2)&nbsp;<br>- Build network/community independent from drug scene - feeds into larger goal of cutting down drug use. Participation in two weekly groups by end of month which Wendy feels supported by.&nbsp;<br>- Enrolled in long term AoD peer support and counselling program by end of month<br>-<br><br>6.4)&nbsp;<br>Relapse (reported using drugs when faced with a setback), growing financial difficulty, pursued contact by drug-involved networks, difficulty trusting new people, overwhelm at new challenges, pressure to stay on track, no guarantee that access to child will ever be granted, negative impact of mental health challenges on self-image and belief in self-efficacy and worth<br><br>6.5)&nbsp;<br>Seek guidance from Wendy regarding how she is feeling --&gt; self image, ability to self-advocate, principals of social definition of recovery.          <description><![CDATA[<div><br>1. Complex PTSD – Compounded trauma from physical and sexual trauma, bullying in high school spanning over years. Anxiety and Depression – SSRI and taking medication from a potential diagnosis in relation to her Complex PTSD. Dual diagnosis – Being prescribed the SSRI medication, and also struggling with addiction of methamphetamines and alcohol.&nbsp;<br><br>2. Childhood sexual abuse and physical abuse, bullying, loss of custody of her child.<br><br>3. Her relationship with her cousin Hermione is resource and her strengths are that she is resilient, friendly,empathic and intelligent.<br><br>4.
