         <description><![CDATA[<p>Macarons are meringue based cookies that have sweet icing in between. It is usually made with egg whites, almond meal, granulated sugar,  and powdered sugar. It is a delicate dish to make because it takes many years to perfect making a macron. </p>]]></description>

         <title>Le millefeuille</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Le millefeuille is a puffed pastry with anywhere from 729- 2,048 layers! The flavor of the pastry is quite simple, but the texture is supposed to be one of a kind. It also has a crème pâtissière (cream filling) in between the main layers. Even though there are thousands of layers, most millefeuille have 2-3 main layers. They also have a design of icing on the top of it. Some millefeuille just have powdered sugar on top. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>L'opera is a simple french cake that has the main ingredients of coffee and cream. It is not the same as tiramisu because l'opera uses a light almond sponge cake. The sponge cake is soaked in coffee syrup and layered with ganache.  It is then covered in chocolate glaze. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Honestly, I would love to eat all of these. There are many similarities in french deserts like, most of these dishes have a sweet cream in between either pastries, cookies, or cake. However, If I had to choose one I would want to eat Le millefeuille because I feel like it combines a lot of french dishes into one. The layers of the pastry remind me of a croissant, and the creme reminds me of a lot of french desserts like les macarons, les Paris-Brests, les Saint-Honores, and les religieuses. </p>]]></description>
