The song "Supermodel" by SZA has just recently become a top 5 for me. During my first heartbreak, this song was at the start, duration, and end of the relationship. When entering the car, this is the first song he ever played, which led to "our" song, and it being the last thing played after our breakup car ride. Since this moment, it remains in my favorites on Spotify and sometimes my top search on bad days.

While visiting Vietnam on a StudyAbroad medical internship, we interacted with Vietnamese students similar in age. During our welcome talent show us (Americans) presented "teach me how to dougie" and in returned they showed us a TikTok dance to the song, "See Tình." While being taught the dance, it became very catchy and repetitive. Leading to every hotel shower concert starting with this song. I brought this experience and song all the way back to the states which remains being one of my favorite regardless of the language barrier.

Growing up, Destiny's Child was a prominent part of my upbringing. It formed my sassy personality but during the Holidays, this was a limited edition. Regardless of the season or weather I play this song weekly. When doing a school-hosted community service project for our annual "Winter Wishes," the song began to play and all of the girls sang together. It was a very sweet bonding moment especially when serving the community. This song remains a favorite as it shaped who I am.

This song is my go-to for stressful/long-homework sessions. I first found the full-song through a study session on a mixed playlist which I recognized from TikTok. I then liked it and on YouTube it soon became the cover song for the "My Mix" playlist. Now, every time I am preparing for a longer session, I click on the "My Mix" playlist with this album cover. Considering I am focusing solely on Journalism 101 work currently, I have already listened to this song.

Being raised in the 2000s consistend of strongly women empowered music. Some of my favorite artists included Beyonce, Rihanna, and etc. In Rihanna's playlist "good girl gone bad:UNLOADED" it includes various of strongly powered songs involving relationships. Out of this playlist, "Breakin' Dishes" still remains my favorite as she taught me from a young age to do what I want. In the song she goes through a breakup and throws his dishes. Unlike this anger, it taught me the reality as well of how some others might express there anger (a glimpse into reality).
