The narrative type of writing lets me tell the story based on how I or the narrator experienced the event. Narrating is being able to tell the audience a story. It can be written to motivate, educate or most commonly entertain. Some other reasons for my choice is that I can narrate what I did and describe the things around me. Although, there are a lot of possible problems in writing a good narrative, captivating the audience and keeping them engaged as the story is being told are two of the most difficult problems to deal with.  In my opinion, the most difficult ones of all are captivating the audience and keeping them engaged as the story is being told.
