WTI - A Catalyst for Systemic Change

Thank you so much for your generosity and your forethought in creating the Wisconsin Technology Initiative. The children and families of the Oshkosh Area School District have benefited greatly from the grants received but the benefits have far exceeded the interactive whiteboard technology placed in our classrooms.

The equipment and professional development provided allowed our community to see what was possible and how we could leverage instructional technology to increase student engagement through the redesign of instructional activities. Our WTI grants served as a catalyst for our community and helped with the passage of our referendum for learning where we were able to provided the same technology in 700 classrooms throughout Oshkosh. We have also taken it a step further and provided chromebooks to 100% of our students in grades 3 through 12.

Thank you so much for lighting the way for our community and helping us prepare our students for their future.
