I believe this is because I just split it up into topics instead of making an actual script. My transition from the video to talking went pretty smooth as well. My presentation actually shocked me. At first, I thought my class was going to be obnoxious and disrespectful, but it was the complete opposite. As soon as I walked in, they were very respectful and listened well. The only things that didn’t go well were that at the end I stuttered on my conclusion. In addition, the class didn’t ask many questions at all and it had made me a little nervous. When I went in there he said he forgot the thing was today and then basically said that there was going to be a little speech and then I told him there was a video but he didn’t know that either. So I couldn’t do my introduction since there was no video. When I introduced myself i noticed that my hands were shaking a lot. During the video, I was stressing out the entire time. But as soon as that video stopped playing, I just started talking about organization. I did look at my note cards, but I would look back at the students. But there were some students I couldn’t look at or I would smile and want to laugh. I feel like I could of talked more about what I talked about. The teacher had struggled to get the video up and then during the video one of the kids let out a very long sigh. Then during the speech it went well I got my points across. Then one kid asked a question, the teacher spoke after that everyone started asking a ton of questions and I was able to respond to them well. I wish I had spoken a little clearer and projected more.
