It was beneficial to have easy access to guidelines and safety tips before my students started a technology assignment in the classroom.

To ensure that all of my students have effective access to technology we have one charging cart with 30 Chromebooks in it, within my 75 students I have numbers on each Chromebook and the three classes share the Chromebooks. They are assigned a number and create personal accounts on that number Chromebook. Through this system my students are able to have access to individual technology.

Through my Padlet and Kahoot assignments my students were able to use their journals. Using my Weebly pages in the Digital Citizenship assignment in 508 Technology & Education I was able to explain to my students the importance of citing information correctly. Because they were able to use their journals it opened us discussions about how they would feel if somebody took their journal, and used the information in their journals without asking permission. It led to great conversations about the importance of plagiarism, copyright, and Fair Use policies.
