I was astonished how people can solve it in just seconds, so I started practicing. But one day, I simply lost interest. I felt like there was better things to do. Today, the quarantine made me take up this puzzle again. I was especially motivated by a youtuber named J Perm. I kept practicing and eventually I reached under 40 seconds. I would definitely recommend everyone to give this a shot.

P.S. If your really going to try, one advice is to NOT buy the rubik's cube from the official brand. Instead, choose companies like GAN that has a reputation(you can search this up on youtube)

Like most, I love to sing. And for about two years, I've been singing and covering my favorite songs by various artists (although most of the songs I cover are by Queen, haha) with my ukulele. It's an easy instrument to pick up if you just want to play around with chords, but it is very versatile and is capable of playing incredibly intricate tunes.

Recently, I've had a lot of free time to try and make my own song on the uke! I hope to create more in the future. I miss everyone, and I hope you all are doing well. Here's a picture of my ukulele.

It was a global event curated by Lady Gaga, featuring many famous musicians who performed in celebration of a COVID-19 support fund that raised millions to fight the disease. The performances were interspersed with stories of healthcare professionals, essential workers, and others who are working to help others and save lives during the pandemic. If you missed it, I think it's available for streaming on Amazon Prime, and you should totally watch it if you can. If anyone else has already watched it, I thought it would be cool if we all commented our favorite performances! 
My favorite performance was Lady Gaga singing "Smile."

With Adam Lambert's stellar vocals, Brian May's brilliant guitar work, and Roger Taylor's phenomenal drumming, the video comes together giving an experience as if it were a live show, which is funny, as it is all recorded on iPhones.  I find it really neat how music can be used in such tough times to provide a little more light into the world. Plus, Queen's one of my favorite things in the whole world, so it's a win-win.

For the past couple nights, we've seen owls flying around the neighborhood -- we think there is a great horned owl and at least two barn owls in the area. Last night, we saw the two barn owls circling a palm tree on our street, where we think they might have a nest. They were calling to each other, which was very eerie, because barn owls have a sort of screaming call that can be quite startling. They landed in the tree, and we thought we could hear owlets cheeping inside it! After a while, one of the owls flew off, probably to continue hunting. The whole encounter was really amazing.
