The purpose of tearing them down would be to potentially forget the history behind them because their fight didn't aline with the rights.  The statues are also a painful reminder of past and present institutionalized racism in the United States.  </p>]]></description>

I personally admired that the article discussed how Japanese Americans, as well as Native Americans receive reparations for stolen land and internment camps that these people were forced to endure. </p>]]></description>

But some people on the other side of things like to argue it's not celebrating racism and the things that happened as a product of confederate but they are just highlighting their heritage.  Having Confederate monuments and symbols is like having nazi symbols just because it's a part of your history doesn't mean it has to be celebrated. </p>]]></description>

Longer wait times cut into work and more important thing. It was shown that longer wait times were more in neighborhoods with more racial , and ethnic minorities. Over all their votes counts towards our political future, helping us shape. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Whenever slavery was abolished, the reparations were given to the white people who "lost their property" rather than the black people who didn't have anything, any family, or any job.  Today the average white family has roughly 10 times the wealth than the average black one.  There also hasn't even really been any reparations towards the black community since slavery, there's been attempts but they have been overwritten and failed, so the black community started at square -5 and deserves a kickstart.</p>]]></description>
