Many teen activists get support from their friends. For example, Alex lin, a 16 year old from Westerly RI, has been getting support from his friends since he first learned about e waste. 

-He wants to stop e waste, which is electronic garbage like old TVs and computers. 

             This shows that Alex Lin has gotten support from his friends because Alex and his friends have been trying to solve e waste . Another example is Emily Anne she has been getting support from her friends when she first got bullied. 

              Emily is a 19 year old who wants to stop building. In the article it says that she was bullied so much she had to move to a new  school, says Emily, freshman at Columbia university. In the article we stop hate Emily made new friends which helped build her self esteem.

One of the best examples is with Malala. Malala is a 9 year old girl who lives in Pakistan with her dad. A terrorist group called the Taliban said that girls wouldn’t go to school.

-  Malala's dad has  been by her side since she started. This shows how Malala got support from her family because her dad was by her side even though there was a risk for what Malala believed in. 

 Alex Lin, Teenage Activist it said: “proudest of all might have been Lin’s father, Jason, 47, an engineer who served as the team’s mentor. It said that Alex Lin’s father was by his side from when he first started trying to solve the e-waste problem.

For example when Malala got shot by the Taliban. This started protests all over Pakistan when she was recovering in the hospital. She didn’t stop believing in what was right. Malala gained support from her community. Malala and her dad started the Malala trust fund to raise money for girls education in Pakistan and all over the world. In the article Malala  says that Pakistan students were caring pictures of her. This shows that malala got support from her community because they were. Another example is Alex Lin when his community found out about team win. Their community donated computers and the electronics team win refurbished electronics. He went to town counsel and the state house to get a bill past so there wouldn’t be e-waste in their state.

People also made “STAND UP 4 WHAT'S RIGHT T shirts”. 

-Many people are needed to help with bullying and especially when it causes depression. The article also gave examples of  students who have been bullied and gave their stories of the hurt and depression it has caused.

-Tesha is a 17 year old girl who has been bullied. She said “it's hurtful to hear the words coming from the bully and  It is hurtful to see bystanders laughing or just watching.”

-Bullies can say rude things, like encouraging someone to kill themselves then they actually do it. Also, someone who is bullied over a long period of time might feel so depressed that they choice to commit suicide.    

-Emily Anne Rigal is a teen activist who was bullied so much that she switched schools. She speaks in public to people to not commit suicide and about their  mental health.

Lee Hirsch was bullied as a when he was growing up. He started a group called Project Bully to stop bullying. He  thinks that the climate in school, and culture is one of the reasons for bullying 

 In the article Anti bullying activist spreads a message of kindness from Nia Mcmillon Emily Anne got bullied in elementary school. Emily-Anne  Rigal started we stop hate in 2010 We stop hate fights against bullying and suicide. 

Anne has also spoken at events for Seventeen Magazine and the We Are Family Foundation. Emily said that only 1 in 10 people tell a trusted adult if they are being bullied.

The more time kids are online the more likely they are to get cyber bullied. cyber bullies can stay anonymous getting parents involved is a way to help. Cyber bullying can lead to depression and suicide.

more young people are reporting to being harassed our tinted online. one of them was shara was 15 years old and was a sophomore at hernando high school in brooksville.

 A 12 and 14 year old were arrested for cyber bullying a 12 year old. Teenagers and young adults are growing to be more aware of cyberbullying.

Emily got badly bullied as a kid when she was in elementary she got so bullied that she had to switch schools. Emily says 

-“ In elementary, I was bullied so bad that I switched to a new school because of it. I had no friends, and the popular people made rumors about me. It was damaging to my self-worth.”   

- She has created a website called WESTOPHATE to help kids defend themselves and to stop bullies.Emily Anne Rigal is 19- years old

Lee Hirsch is another activist that fights against bullying . His film he is making now is called “bully” (paragraph 1  page  1) it explains that he has looked at it many times and it showed that he was scared to make the film as a result

Kareemah Jackson is the last activist that fights against bullying  .A lot of people call her a big bully due to her height and looks. She said “bullying is a serious topic,” (paragraph 2 page 1,, newsela)

- .  she explains that it is a cycle almost repeating everyday not for her but for almost everybody. Therefore Kareemah created a protest called “STAND UP 4 WHAT'S RIGHT.” (paragraph 4  page 1) She created t-shirts with that logo on them 

-She created an anti-bullying meeting with parents and students at Bechtel high. Kareemah started her job against bullying as a sixth grader at Crusoe middle school. The meeting was sponsored by Akron Public schools.

- Over 40 parents` of Ohio students tried to break the cycle of bullying, plus nearly 100 student leaders from the school districts and middle schools attended! 

-This made Kareemah very helpful to the kids that were getting bullied.This shows she was successful.

  • If you see a victim of bullying you can you can spread kindness to them.
  • One way that can help bullying is making a website to prevent bullying 
  • One way to help bullying go on tv and talk about it
