For colaboration and to collect and storage the project materials we wused cloud spaces . This project was a great opportunity to work with coleagues , to learn from them . I am a Teacher who would not use Digital Technologies unless it brings something to my students learning. I feel using Digital Technologies should start with other staff members firstly. Maybe through, Departments, at our school, a group of teachers in the same subject areas, then nationally, Teachers in the same subject area nationally/same country. Digital Technologies with my students, at our school we are looking at "Teams" in Office365. a Platform where OneNote is the center, allowing Teachers to collaborate with their Students, there are different teams on set up, on called PLC (Professional Learning Community) allowing Teachers share their ideas, notes, resources.

Reyhan's experience with the use of tools , her idea to set up a digital professional learning network, are very impressive. I am mostly familiar with eTwinning and learning events for teachers. These often require the use of new tools and some form of team work. For reasons of data protection I would not really use either Facebook or Twitter and would not encourage my pupils to do so. There are other options available for teachers to learn from one another like these moocs. Collaboration with my eTwinning colleagues seems more inspirational than at my school. On the twinspace we share material, coordinate the next project steps, use the teacher Bulletin. This is very effective indeed. There is still a reluctance on the part of some teachers to use digital technologies for educational purposes. Even teacher training does not prepare young teachers for the integration of digital tools into their teaching practice, including team work among colleagues.

The new social media can contribute in creating a wide teachers web in which everyone can share its experiences and suggestions. It is important not only collaboration in school but also the creation of spaces to communicate best practices. In my school a FB page for teachers has been created to share and during collegiate boards are proposed some "little pills" of ITc so everyone can be aware of new avaliable tecnhologies, even if some teachers do not know even the basis of using PCs and this is very worrying.

I am sure, and I know it by personal experience, that non everybody has the right skills to take advantage of new technologies.

In the absence of digital technologies, teacher collaboration outside of school becomes a utopia. I have collaborate with teachers to develop educational projects on the eTwinning platform. I use the iTeach platform for professional training and participate in online courses organized on dedicated platforms. At this module I also found out about other possibilities of collaboration through digital technologies. It should be noted, however, that the time resources available to a teacher are limited and that after designing attractive and effective lessons and after the training process there it remain little time for the use of so many digital tools and social media networks even if the target is the own training and collaboration with other teachers.

I really liked the idea of ePals, which I was completely unaware of,
platform where teachers and students from all over the world can connect. I'm going to explore this platform.
Not all teachers are in the same phase of knowledge regarding the technologies, but with an interest on the part of the teachers of if they want to update and the existence of this type of training (MOOC), there will be, increasingly, teachers with the necessary skills for classes with the use of technologies and where teaching is student-centered.
Social networking is an easy way to interact and collaborate with large groups of teachers who can not get together and want to share experiences or even develop common projects. It already happened to me. Sharing documents and building collaborative documents through office365 or google docs (drive) are ways I use very often to collaborate with my partners. Basically, all the applications that allow collaboration are efficient, it all depends on how each teacher works and the capacity and willingness that each one has to adapt.
Google Tradutor para Empresas:Ferramentas do Google TradutorTradutor de Web sites

Do you agree that not all teachers have the required skills to take advantage of digital technologies? Reyhan mentions social media networks, such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, as particularly useful spaces for teacher collaboration and professional learning. What are your experiences of social media networks for teacher collaboration and professional learning? What emerging digital technologies are you aware of that can help teachers collaborate more efficiently?
Never heard about ePals and Wikispace, but we took part to an eTwinning project 3 years ago. It was easy organizing activities and group video chat but slow connection didn’ t help communication.

Unfortunately, I must admit that many teachers do not realize that, as with any new tool, they can become proficient enough so that it becomes the easiest thing to use it, other fears for pupils’ safety or class management. I think that if we adopt classroom technology, we also make sure that the activity serves our learning objectives.

I usually use Facebook, after the eTwinning project I gave up Twitter and Linkedin, because I felt as sucked into a parallel universe.

Thanks to Facebook I can share documents and ideas, I can plan and organize with some of my colleagues (I have just finished to talk with three of them) and I really appreciate this tool because we live in different places, we are all commuters and when we meet at school most of the work is already done.

I was not so familiar with emerging digital technologies, but during the course I have started using those suggested by Anna Laghigna and the other colleagues.

I Think that technologies have a great potential in order to improve students competences. New technologies are efficient instruments to engage students’ attention and to motivate them. I often use digital resources in my subject lessons and, particularly, I use ANIMOTO. I often use ANIMOTO because it lets you take your photos and video clips, add text and a music track and turn it all into a video. You can emphasise certain photos or allow the program to do it randomly. Share your video by email, embed it in a wiki/blog or upload it to uTube. It’s very good !!! I think that that the role of videos in a classroom will be dealt with, both for learners and for teachers , considering the new role of the learner as an active user of the web and as a content generator. As for the teachers’ perspective, video clips can play an important role in a teacher-training pathway, both for Initial Teacher Education and for Continuous Professional Development.

In a lesson activity collaboration and communication channels are precious because they are useful to improve language skills and they provide learners of authentic material : this is a way to improve students’ vocabulary.

I participated to a lot of learning events and structured courses about collaboration as well. I prefer not to use Twitter or other social media, as I made the choice not to be connected every single moment of my life. I experimented a lot of different platform as Skype, Meet, Hangouts, Webex and other to participate or to organize videoconferences with other teachers or experts in some fields. The only real challenge I have to face is the use of the English as a vehicular language, and my students are not so good in English!!

I agree with Reyhan when she says that not all teachers have the required skills in digital technologies. Italian government has promoted a program for teachers about digilat skills and each school has selected ten teachers to become expert in digital technologies and share their knowledge with their colleagues. However this takes time for the teachers to learn and to share what they have learnt. Personally I have volunteered for this action, because I think we teachers have a fundamental role in showing our students the potential of technologies in terms of global awarness. I am in different teacher's forum on facebook, both Italian and international, and I find it useful and motivating for my job. I have the chance to share ideas and opinions with colleagues, sometimes very distant, and I also have the chance to model my methodology on other colleagues' methodology.

I haven't really heard of ePals and edWeb.net, but I'm curious to try them. So far I haven't really used modern technology for collaboration, but rather facebook and other websites for personal professional development.
Last year I had one of my colleagues coming into one of my lessons and telling me that she had just deleted the internet and she needed immediate help, so I want to say that there are more teachers out there that do not even have a basic idea of a computer, not even to talk about any other tools. I get especially frustrated if young colleagues tell me they cannot handle modern technology. I could even get angry about that. We're working in education and are not even able to educate ourselves - how should we educate children? (You might see that I'm kind of passionate about this topic)
I'm a big fan of online lesson planning and grading. On the one hand, it helps me reduce paper and storage space, and on the other hand, I always have everything with me as long as there is WIFI and any device I can use to access my files. I also really enjoy webinars, because if I feel the seminar is not useful, I can drop outwhenever I like.
So there are just so many possiblities and opportunities and I hope to spread the word around Austria :D

I worked collaboratively in eTwinning projects. Teachers used many times WhatsApp to communicate more rapidly. Of course Facebook and Messenger were also used. In twinspace, we use several other applications and tools: Padlet, Animoto, Adobe Spark, Vimeo, Thinglink, Google docs, Socrative, Mentimeter, ... I learned some of these tools in other MOOC's and also with my etwinner partners. Many teachers don't have the required skills in digital technologies, because they don't like neither want to learn. But nowadays evryone needs to learn, it's the future! At schools, almost all communication are made by mail or on the school platform. Write the class summaries and mark the students' absences, it is no longer on paper, it is on the platform. Sometimes, for teachers meeting, to plan a lesson or to discuss a shool problem, we use also Skype or hangout from G-mail, and we can work, at our home, with our colleagues.

I find that digital tools platforms are very helpful for collaboration both among teachers and students. They also help to improve digital skills. So teachers need depeen their knowledge of digital technologies, in order to use a language that students understand well. Social media network like Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin are particularly useful areas for teachers collaboration and professional learning. Another positive and inspiring platform is the eTwinning one. I have been an eTwinning member for some years and I find this platform useful for teaching and learning. It provides online tools , services, support and lets school projects develop through collaboration among teachers from European countries.

One of my favourite tool is PowToon. It enables students to create animated videos and presentations. It is as easy as PowerPoint, but its animations are very captivating! PowToon gives students and teachers several solutions. I find it original and innovative . An important role has the “time-line” through which the students realize a planning phase and a useful work of separating, synthesizing, reconstructing the topics. In addition producing and sharing their own videos, students become the real protagonists of their learning pathway, feeling more engaged and challenged, especially if a co-creation process among peers is involved.

My students use Padlet and Tackk for share their homework , Dropbox for share images , files, mind map, Adobe Spark for videos. I use Kahoot for preparing individual and collaborative texts. In my school a lot of teachers don't have digital skills because they are old and don't attend refresher course. I have only one colleague that is happy to work in collaborative way with me and can use digital tools. I appreciate Reyhan' s video because she gives mea lot of tips about to create a true collaborative teaching and learning. It is always good not to feel isolated in the classroom and have these tools available to us and our students. As I have been working with the eTwinning Portal for some years, I already knew some of the tools I used for teacher collaboration. Admittedly, not all teachers have the skills to harness digital technologies and I agree with Reyhan when he mentions social networking networks such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn as particularly useful spaces for teacher collaboration and professional learning. She often planned eTwinning's work on facebook with colleague Checa. It was the social network of excellence of the two teachers and thus related the collaboration of teachers and professional learning. Facebook, Twiter, Linkedin, PLN, Cliptomize, Skype, and email are emerging digital technologies that can help teachers collaborate more effectively.

It was really motivating to hear about these platforms because I only knew Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter.
The way how my Linkedin connections work is not ideal for teacher collaboration unfortunately. On the other hand it gave me the hint that it can be used for purposes like this. I would like to be careful with Facebook on the other hand I know more and more people use this online platform for work build carrier network etc.
What sounded interesting were ePal and eTwinning. Especially the international teacher community is important for me because I would like to start building an international partnership project between schools. For this project I need international school communities.
Using digital technologies and its requirement cannot be an exact tool for any teacher. Websites, applications etc can be used for different tasks so I think instead of giving a written "list" about digital tools that are required in a classroom we should teach them the opportunity how to use it.

Todays every teacher should be able to manage digital tools like social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and other useful e-learning environments like Moodle, Edmodo or a repository of images and animations as Powtoon. These gadgets help to communicate and transmit the topics of our lesson in an attractive way to our students. They belong to the millennials generation, they were born in houses surrounded by tablets, smartphones, video station and they learned to use them in the first age of their childhood. For these reasons, we must communicate with them using all digital media because the old way to do a lesson, with chalk and talk, is no more effective.

Actually, at the moment I'm collaborating with other 4 European countries in a project called 'Swapping letters and postcards around Europe'. I found and chose my partner countries on a Facebook group. This social is very useful to spread collaboration among teachers. For the first time, this year I've tried the platform 'Penpalschools' with three classes of mine. I must say it's very engaging for students. I chose two interesting topics, 'Immigration' with a class where are three immigrants in and 'Fake news' that is really interesting to make students aware of a false news and distinguish real news from fake news. It is very useful for my students to practise English chatting with unknown penpals all around the world and debating on a specific topic. It's appealing! So yes, I think it's essential to use technology to collaborate and I always benefit from it.

I don't like this way of sharing because someone can easily delete the mail and all the work of everybody will be gone. In my experience in my previous school and in the eTwinning projects I've done ( Challenge as a Modern Pedagogical Tool -http://www.challengeproject.eu/about-the-project) we shared and prepared materials using the google various tools: dropbox, google forms, sheets, etc, we also had a facebook page for teachers and another for the community of teachers, students and parents and we worked with edmodo. From that project, I've started to work sometimes in collaboration with teachers from other schools, because in my school only a few teachers wants to do it. In this group we share ideas and answer each others questions about how to introduce a topic or a tool. It is much more fullfiling.

In partcular they represent a great help to teach foreign languages because they offer the possibility to connect with native speakers and to know deeply the foreign culture. I use kahoot to warm up my lessons and my students aprreciate a lot........

I can bring my personal experience having participated in an Erasmus+ project in Spain on digital technologies and in particular on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram. The comparison with other teachers from other European countries has been very positive and very constructive. I tried to disseminate what I learned at school, but I did not always find myself willing and open to social media.

My experience of classroom collaboration with other colleagues is indeed reduced. When done, the good things achieved are usually minimized. I do not know if it is a cultural issue, but teaching and learning processes' complexity is, often, seen as something whose solution needs a great deal of individualism.
Changing this logic requires time, opportunity, and (in some way) recognition of others (whether they are the students, the parents, or the peers and the board).
Of course, the domain of digital technologies, however intuitive they may be, is always a novelty and therefore difficult.
Changing the limits of comfort zones is always a problem. Let us remember that, for what happens, the learning has (in some way) to be recognized its practical utility. Otherwise, they are hardly put into practice.
The use of social networks by teachers allows them to highlight and share texts, videos and opinions i.e., collaborate in the construction of professional knowledge, I consider that this still happens in a very extemporaneous way. For example, schools and curriculum developers could organize this type of materials and make them available to all teachers. In my opinion, strategies like this, in addition to showing direction support to teachers' collaboration, help us to find solutions to their different professional difficulties.

I do not know the ePals platform, of which she speaks; I am registered with eTwinning but I have not used it to create my own project or participate in other colleagues' projects. The main motivation is the lack of time and support from some of my class colleagues. I use Facebook and Twitter to learn about educational innovations and I am enrolled in many groups of teachers where I have learned the beauty of sharing. At school I promoted the use of Drive for collaborative writing of some documents, but getting to the full sharing of good practices is very difficult.

Currently there is no widespread practice of collaborative work among teachers. This is due to various reasons, but in the education system there is a strong tendency to continue with pedagogies in which the teacher is an isolated element that relates only to his students following a book published by a publisher. Many teachers still do not have adequate levels when it comes to technologies, and have been educated with pedagogies that did not require collaboration. I think there is a lack of time for everything that is studied here to become generalized, but it is the responsibility of the University to adequately train new teachers.

I think that most likely it is not about teachers skills but it‘s about time and attitude that stops teachers from taking advantage of digital technologies. From my experience, I use Facebook, Skype, google docs, etwinning, iEARN for teacher collaboration. What I‘ve noticed is that teachers from different schools or even countries are more willing to collaborate than the teachers from the same school. It could be all about competition.

I have the notion that there are still many tools that I do not know, because every day new applications appear more and more interesting than the previous ones. However, it is up to us to choose the ones that please us best and that fulfil the objectives of the tasks we are planning. In my personal case I have a basic criterion for the selection of any tool: it has to be intuitive and easy to use.

One tool I have used in working with other colleagues has been Freedcamp. It’s a free solution for project management over the Internet, with task list, time management, possibility to share files, discussion panel of works and area to establish individual and group goals, we can also use rss to receive news related to a particular project.

Freedcamp has excellent visuals, with a dashboard that can contain widgets for tracking all the features, projects and tasks.

You can create as many projects as you want, with as many members as you want, by defining the accesses of each member in the project.

Regarding the use of social networks in working with other colleagues I think it is a plus since it facilitates and streamlines communication between peers. I use facebook and whatsapp pretty often.

Thanks to these groups I keep myself updated on the latest trends in teaching methodology and digital literacy for teachers and students. Thanks to such networks as Etwinning, European Schoolnet and Teacher's Academy I have attended a number of extremely interesting and useful courses and got in touch with experienced colleagues from which I am learning a lot. These communities help me to find new motivation and to feel less lonely when I feel overwhelmed by the workload. As for digital techologies, I am basically self-taught, but it is true that not all teachers are willing to experiment with new digital tools. I think this is due to a lack of time and motivation, which are two of the biggest problems we have to face nowadays.

I don’t “use” tools personally in the way teachers do, but I can definitely map what Reyhan is referring to and how these platforms are typically used in real teacher collaboration contexts.

Many of the tools usually mentioned in this kind of discussion fall into a few groups: learning management systems like Google Classroom or Microsoft Teams for Education, collaboration tools like Google Docs, Padlet, Miro, and Slack, and professional learning platforms such as Edmodo (older but still referenced), Moodle forums, and webinars hosted on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. On the social media side, Twitter (now often referred to as X), Facebook groups, and LinkedIn are widely used for informal professional learning communities, sharing resources, and discussing classroom practice.

Your point about skills is accurate in many real school environments. Not all teachers start with the same level of digital confidence. Some are very comfortable experimenting with new tools, while others may only use basic functions like email or attendance systems. The barrier is often less about willingness and more about time, training, and ongoing support. Without structured professional development, even good tools can remain underused.

Regarding social media for professional learning, its usefulness is quite mixed but real. Twitter/X, for example, has been widely used in education hashtags and live chats (like #EdChat) where teachers exchange ideas quickly and globally. Facebook groups tend to be more practical and community-based, often focused on subject teaching or national curricula. LinkedIn is more formal and useful for sharing articles, career development, and connecting with institutions. The strength of these platforms is immediacy and access to a global network of teachers; the weakness is information overload and varying quality of content.

Emerging technologies are pushing collaboration further. AI tools (like lesson-planning assistants, feedback generators, and chat-based tutoring systems) are increasingly used for co-planning and resource creation. Cloud-based collaborative suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) are becoming more intelligent with real-time co-authoring and AI suggestions. Learning analytics dashboards help teachers collaborate by sharing student progress data. Virtual and augmented reality tools are also emerging for shared lesson design and immersive teaching experiences. Finally, professional learning networks are evolving into more structured online communities inside platforms like Microsoft Teams communities or dedicated teacher apps.
