Hadrian's Wall

Hadrian’s Wall was the north-west frontier of the Roman empire for nearly 300 years. It was built by the Roman army on the orders of the emperor Hadrian following his visit to Britain in AD 122. At 73 miles (80 Roman miles) long, it crossed northern Britain from Wallsend on the River Tyne in the east to Bowness-on-Solway in the west. The most famous of all the frontiers of the Roman empire, Hadrian’s Wall was made a World Heritage Site in 1987.
Hadrian came to Britain in AD 122 and, according to a biography written 200 years later, ‘put many things to right and was the first to build a wall 80 miles long from sea to sea to separate the barbarians from the Romans.

The building of Hadrian’s Wall probably began that year, and took at least six years to complete.

The “city that never sleeps”, the “capital of the world” or the “Big Apple” are some names for New York.
New York has a humid continental temperate climate with four well-defined seasons. Located near large bodies of water, the temperature in the city tends to fluctuate less than in areas located inland. However, the weather in New York is erratic, with low temperatures and snowstorms possible towards the end of spring or early fall.
The city's winters are cold (though warmer than inland, given its location), and occasional snowstorms can bring the city to a complete standstill, with more than a foot of snow. In winter, the average temperature is 1ºC. Springs in the city are mild, with highs ranging from 10°C to 15°C in March and 20°C to 25°C in June. Summers in the city are hot and humid, with highs between 32°C and 38°C, and an average temperature of 23°C.
New York has numerous green areas spread out, especially along lower density areas like Staten Island. In total, there are 113 km² of area dedicated to more than 1,700 parks and playgrounds. The most famous park is Central Park, located in the center of Manhattan, being one of the best known points of interest in New York.
Going to New York has been a dream since I was a kid and one day I hope to make it come true.

English Breakfast

Ingredients
6 eggs
8 sausages
1 baked beans
1 Pack of Tulip bacon (150 g)
150g Mushrooms
500g Potatoes
250g large cherry tomatoes
50g Butter
50ml cream
Salt and pepper from the mill to taste
Preparation
Wash mushrooms and tomatoes. Peel the potatoes and dry well. Grate with a fine manual grater and make small pancakes with your hands. Cook in nonstick skillet with half the butter. Season with salt and pepper. With the help of a spatula, flatten the potatoes to ensure even cooking, getting as dark a color as you like on both sides.
In a frying pan, cook the bacon without any fat, so that it becomes crispy. In the same container, cook the sausages with a knob of butter, turning them evenly to get a good color. Before the sausages are ready, cook the sliced mushrooms and season with salt and pepper. Repeat the process for the cherry tomatoes, but very quickly so they don't break.

Finally, heat the beans and cook the scrambled eggs in a non-stick frying pan with the remaining butter, and season with salt and pepper. Add the cream halfway through cooking in order to improve the texture of the eggs, not letting them dry out easily and making their flavor more refined.
