Cultures that believe in a substitute of meat will have a more plant based diet and that will change the type of crops harvested. Holidays will sometimes depend on the major religion present in that community.  
2. If families are separated between countries and they are unable to contact their family, they can use their culture as a way to feel closer to them. Certain Holidays and meals can bring comfort to families but only if cultures are shared around the world.
