This is one of the Navajo Nation's seven wonders. They settled in this canyon to be safe from USA military and Anglo settlers.<br>Relative: It’s East of Chinle, South of Red Valley, and North of Nazlini.</div><div>Exact: The exact location is 36,17 North and 109,53 West.</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Shiprock: This is one of the most important spiritual sites  for the Navajo Tribe. The Navajo believe that a giant bird took them to their new home in Navajo nation many centuries ago. Then as they were traveling the bird  fought a cliff monster, but the bird lost.  The bird got turned into stone. They believe that the Shiprock is the bird, but in stone form. <br>Relative: It's South of Rattlesnake, East of Red Valley, North of Little Water.<br>Exact: The exact location is 36,69 North and 108,84 West.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Language:  They speak a language called Diné. It was used in WWII to fool the Axis Powers, since they couldn’t understand it. Throughout the war they never could decode the messages and was a huge part in winning the war. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Economy: When the Navajo tribe was thriving they traded an assortment of things. They traded agricultural products to nearby neighbors. Their most famous products were when they traded away rugs or vases. To this day these rugs and vases are worth a lot of money. They also traded away a lot of other crafts.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Religion: They believe that we were any animal or insect that we can imagine. Then the holy spirit's gave the gift of life to him or her. They then will be able to go to Earth. On Earth they believe the woman, sun god,  taught them how to live and survive here. They also don't like to talk about their dead because they believe that the evil spirits of that person will haunt them for their life.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Housing: For housing the Navajo build adobe houses. These were houses that were multi-stored and had ladders instead of doors. They had windows going around the top and were usually in the shape of a square or a rectangle. These houses were made out of baked clay and straw put together. These houses were easily defendable since they had no doors and windows around the top. The most famous adobe village in the cliff dwelling village. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Clothing: The original clothing that the Navajo wore were deerskin shirts and skirts. Both men and women wore the same clothing to make it easier to make it in vast quantities. The men eventually evolved into wearing a cotton shirt, breeches below the knee, and moccasins. The women eventually evolved into wearing a squaw dress which was made of dark and plain blankets. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Food: The Navajo ate an assortment of both meat and plants. Some of the protein they got into their body were  antelope, deer, elk, mountain sheep, goats, prairie-dogs, rabbits(jack and contain-tail), and woodrats. There favorite proteins were goats and mountain sheeps. Some of the plants they ate were cedar berries, corn, grapes, juniper berries, potatoes(wild), pumpkins, squash, yucca fruit, and beans. This means that they did grow the three sisters. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>
