The Red Cross organization was shown to help support the USA's military during WW2:

When the US participated and fought in the war, it was proven that the Red Cross had supported their military. Many American soldiers or allied prisoners of war were said to be medically treated due to the Red Cross volunteering to help them out. The USA Red Cross organization website states, “In World War II, more than 104,000 nurses recruited by the American Red Cross served in military hospitals at home and overseas. Red Cross employees and volunteers provided emergency message services. Twenty-seven million Red Cross packages were distributed to American and Allied prisoners of war, and staff and volunteers helped out in rest and recreation areas in the field and at military hospitals, hospital ships and trains.”(US RedCross.org) The evidence shows that Red Cross nurses were able to serve in US military hospitals. Employees of the Red Cross were able to send out emergency services and distribute packages to American and Allied prisoners of war to medically heal them.

Around the time of the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, the Red Cross got involved to help wounded soldiers. In the US Red Cross website it states, "After the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the Red Cross quickly mobilized a volunteer and staff force to fulfill the mandates of its 1905 congressional charter requiring that the organization “furnish volunteer aid to the sick and wounded of armies in time of war” and to “act in matters of voluntary relief and in accord with the military and naval authorities as a medium of communication between the people of the United States of America and their Army and Navy." (US RedCross.org). This piece of evidence shows that the Red Cross was available to help aid the situation of Pearl Harbor after the attack due to an agreement.

The Red Cross organization supported British communities during WW2:

The Battle of Britain was one of the many battles that occurred during World War 2. The battle involved only air attacks and aerial bombings to take place during the war. Red Cross volunteers respond to this situation by helping citizen to escape the situation The British Red Cross organization website states that, “The Battle of Britain from September 1940 to May 1941 was the first major military campaign to be fought entirely by air forces. It was also the largest and most sustained aerial bombing of towns and cities the UK had ever seen (...) Volunteers drove ambulances, carried stretchers and rescued people from buildings that had been demolished by bombs. They ran first aid posts in the London Underground stations used as air raid shelters. The Red Cross gave out essential items such as food, medical supplies, blankets and clothing to people in town halls, emergency rest centers and hospitals." (British RedCross.uk). The evidence shows that the Red Cross volunteered to help people during aerial attacks. The Red Cross would guide them to aid posts in London underground and help the citizens with necessities to survive.

The Red Cross had able to assist New Zealand's military and refugees during WW2:

The Red Cross managed to assist New Zealand's soldiers and refugees during WW2. Employees apart of the organization provided support for people serving in the war, and it was also proven that they also took care and support Polish children alongside refugees. In the New Zealand Red Cross website, it states “During the Second World War we sent staff to overseas medical units and provided supplies to hospital ships. At home, around 1,500 Red Cross volunteers packed more than a million ‘care packages’ to send to those serving in the war. A communications bureau was set up that sent almost half a million messages between prisoners of war and their families and friends. We also supported returned ex-servicemen and women by providing clothing, food and transport.” (New Zealand RedCross.org). New Zealand's Red Cross website also explains, “In 1944 New Zealand Red Cross was there to help welcome New Zealand’s first refugees – a group of more than 700 Polish children displaced during the war. This marked the beginning of our work supporting former refugees, which is now one of our core services. In the early 1950’s Red Cross began preparing and delivering meals to people who were not able to cook themselves, and this grew into the widespread Meals on Wheels service we still provide today.” (New Zealand RedCross.org). These 2 pieces of evidence indicate that the Red Cross’ staff were able to send medical support to soldiers serving in the war, create communications between prisoners of war alongside relatives, and offer necessities to veterans. The Red Cross had also able to rescue approximately 700 Polish children and former refugees to feed them.

The Red Cross had actually managed to get in contact with one of the concentration camps taking place during the Holocaust. The Red Cross had managed to rescue inmates and take care of them as a result. In the Britain Red Cross website it states, "On 15 April 1945, British and Canadian troops liberated the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp. They found over 13,000 unburied bodies and around 60,000 inmates, most acutely sick and starving. On 21 April, five British Red Cross teams were sent to Belsen. Red Cross doctors and nurses staffed the hospital, welfare officers took care of children, and cooks established canteens to feed the inmates." (Britain RedCross.org). This piece of evidence shows that the Red Cross took part into saving inmates who were captured and kept in concentration camps. The organization did so by sending medical staff to take care of children and feed the inmates.
