Today, we spent the beginning of class planning out our puppets for next week. We officially decided we would be making two boy puppets and two girl puppets, and looked into who would be buying what fabric.

We brought our materials to class this week. We all bought them ourselves, but there were a couple of materials, such as thread or pins, and some felt that was brought to be shared.

We really enjoyed watching this video and thought it was very interesting to see a different perspective. Seeing the doodles in the video really confirmed our mindset. Sometimes the "standard" isn't always the best way to go about it. In this weeks readings we learned that standards are about cultures and not all of them apply to everyone all the time.

This video gave us some bright ideas for our puppet show and how to create songs that send a message to young children appropriately. The one in the video gave the message that everyone belongs, no matter their differences. In ours, we know we want to say something about friendship and how the food you have does not define you.
