In my lesson 'The Ancient Egyptians' encouraged my students to sit in groups and they did research through the newspaper prints (that they bought from their homes) and from the reader 'The ancient world'.

I let them explore freely and collaboratively with their peers and wrote paragraph on the Pyramids. With the collective knowledge and collaboration they had better understanding than ever before.

This method increased their motivation, engagement with peers, enhanced self-regulation skills, confidence and improved their academic performance.
