I think that cedar is felling sad and depressed because first of all her dad and brother died so she moved for the summer to the town her mom grew up in which must have been hard for another big change in her life because on page 1 it states, “we were spending the rest of the summer in iron creek." Which must have been hard for her to leave were she grew up

Cedar is feeling depressed that the theater is getting torn down. According to the text on page 31 it states, “ The thether is coming down at the end of summer.” Cedar is also depressed because her mother loved going to the theater.
